My son uses this on a weekly basis for sports, pool, going to a buddy's house etc.

Using my laptop backpack for going to the gym is wearing it out so I decided to buy a bag just for gym use. This bag is perfect. Durable, adequate capacity, multiple pockets for small items (outside and inside the bag), great price. Perfect for me!

I bought to use as a gym bag. I did not carry large items just change of clothes and id's. It started coming apart at seams at week 3. Tennis shoes did ot fit in bottom of bag either.

I really like this for hiking. It is lightweight and large to fit all kinds of stuff. The straps are sturdy and very comfortable - not thin like most drawstring bags, so it doesn't cut into your shoulders. I got 2 and am very pleased.

This is really thick and nice quality, It's a good size for a larger gym bag or for a swim bag--to take a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, maybe a water and a few snacks. The straps are a bit tricky to adjust with the gathered top, but as I don't think we'll use it as a backpack for long periods of time it's no big deal. If you're using this as a gym or sports bag, you likely won't be carrying it around much on your back.
