My little girl was always loosing her dummy through the bars and waking up with her leg or arm stuck so I bought this to stop that from happening. Its perfect for it as its thin breathable mesh so not a suffocating hazard like the padded bumpers and i can still see her through it from my bed to check on her. It has velcro fastenings at each end which are the full height of the bumper that wraps around the bars as well as tie strips along the tops and bottoms to secure it. It does slide down when I change the bedding but it's pretty impossible for her to get it off which is the important thing.
