Wil the curved end that holds the tubing grip it tightly enough to hold it?** A: I don't believe so. In my experience, there's an upside down U at the top of the stake that helps pin the hose to the ground. **Q: Will these fit 5/8 inch poly distribution tubing?** A: 1/2 poly tubing fits perfectly so I don’t believe 5/8 would fit. **Q: Can you mow over the top of them?** A: Mine are in a raised vegetable garden but they sink to ground level so I would think it would totally be safe to mow over.
