LEGO Hidden Side 70425 Newbury Haunted High School Construction Big Set, AR Games app, Interactive Augmented Reality Ghost Playset, Gifts for 9 Years Old Boys and Girls

I bought this in the black Friday sale and got it for £61.99. I had been eyeing it up for my son's Christmas but it's RRP was a little steep so naturally I jumped on the offer when it came up, especially because with hidden side, you really need all the sets in order to fully unlock content on the app (a thing to bear in mind if you are intrigued by the concept of AR Lego and are yet to try it out). The set took about 4.5 hours to build. Pieces come in 9 bags and consist of 430 steps. Looks brilliant when built up. The app is super fun too, we will continue to build up our hidden side collection

A fantastic product but struggling a bit with the app. My 6 year old grandson did most of it himself and there were one of two issues with the fixings which were not always easy to clip together. However he loved it. I would question the pricing as some of the reviews mention this. I am absolutely certain that when I ordered it the price was £77 something. However the invoice in the box said £97. If this is the case, I am shocked. I wonder if the price went up due to the increase in demand during the Coronavirus problem. Perhaps someone is in a position to answer

This is a great set. My 5 year old loves Lego and particularly enjoys all of the Hidden Side sets. Luckily for me he is only really interested in playing once it’s built so I get to spend hours building Lego! This is our biggest set so far and took a few days to build but wow is it worth it! Lots of moving parts and hidden things, plus the figures that come with it are fantastic. The games on the app are a nice addition but not necessary to enjoy the set.

The build was straightforward and my son (8) took about an afternoon to complete it on his own. Look good, nicely detailed. We had no missing pieces. My son likes the app, but it can get intense and a bit scary with lots of loud zapping sounds.I was annoyed that there was a price drop of £15 the day it was being delivered. Also, it was surprisingly a lot smaller than I had expected, but I guess the size is reflected in the price.

I find Lego very expensive but maybe that’s just me. My 6 year old loves this and took a few days to put together. We built a bit then took a break and then went back. He managed okay putting it together. We haven’t quite figured out the interactive part but he seems to enjoy that but too

What a great toy to have, very creative and educational for children, my 8 year old spend a lot of time, thinking and reading instructions to build up hid Lego, he has now collected all hidden side Lego. And the advantage to have is to be able to use your iPad to reveal the ghosts on the hidden side Lego. With all the collection we didn’t see my son for 3 weeks in the evening cos he was busy building his lego!

This was a nice lego kit but as with all lego, for what it is its very very expensive. We did enjoy building it.

Bought for my youngest Lego-mad 9 year old son for Christmas and this product does not disappoint. All the usual easy to follow instructions and fab design that would expect from Lego, with the added plus of it coming to life with the app.Son had great fun building it on Christmas Day and it will no doubt become an integral part of his collection!
