Very impressed and for the price!
This tent is amazing and just what I needed for my 3 children (ranging from 14 to 9, boys and girls) and me. I’m not a camper, and just wanted something we could all fit in comfortably without all being squished together for in the garden, it’s huge! It was pretty easy to put up, my 14 year old and me done it leisurely in just under two hours (having never put one up in our lives), the poles were all colour coded and instructions attached to the bag, which was slightly annoying at times, but then at least we won’t loose them! The tent is sturdy and has been up for a week now with mixed weather including rain, windy at times and sun. I have experienced no leaks. The children love it and have had various friends sleep over in it. I have had a double mattress and two single mattresses in there at once plus the dog bed and a tele, and there’s still space! It can get chillier in the evening when we were settling in and eating snacks and watching a movie, so we had a little heater on for a very short period of time to bring the temperature up a little bit which really helped, and then we had feather duvets so were fine during the night. Then it was very hot in the mornings with the sun on the tent, but I presume that’s the same with any tent. Luckily this tent opens right up making it lovely and airy when hot. I love this design, it looks amazing and you get that 360 view. We loved the stable door and chose to use that as our main door as you can see through the top part (and open it up if required). We would have liked the same on the other door, and would have used that as our main door if so, as it has the pull open/closed feature which would have been easier when going in and out all the time, but we really wanted to see out the door which was facing the house (just personal preference). We haven’t took it down yet so unsure how easy that will be, but all in all really impressed and for an amazing price in the sale. Love it!

We love our tent! ⛺️
Such a nice tent. Easy to assemble, large inside area, the orange colour gives a sunny, uplifting feel. We also purchased the fitted carpet for inside. The carpet was expensive for basically, a large picnic blanket but there was no good alternative. The windows that open all around is a very good feature. It's a shame the main door has no window but that is the only small downside to the whole purchase. It's been permanently set up in a large wooded area, it's been through heavy rain days with no leaks whatsoever. We have had the tent for a few weeks now and camped for around a weeks worth of days, on and off. We are considering purchasing the extention area soon. Both carpet and extension area are expensive, in my opinion but the tent was an absolute deal so I don't mind so much. I'd say this is an excellent choice for many campers. Although, if you have children, I think you'd want a separate compartment for sleeping. That said its a good sturdy design and makes maximum use of all the space provided but being so open plan. I hope the review helps you 😊

Great tent for first timers as well as pro campers.
This review has been written after a week of camping in Cornwall. Weather in that week has been as follows; extreme heat, extreme windy conditions, extreme rain and all of the above at once... I know nothing about the water proofing levels. So after reading people's feedback saying it was 2000 whatever instead of 3000 as other tents, I bought a most seller water proofing spray on amazon and sprayed its flysheet after erecting it to test it. It was a 10 mins job. So my review does not reflect the original water proofing of this tent. It stood up well in crazy wind where you'd doubt you make it through the night. I pegged not only the corners of the groundsheet but also the windows/flaps very well with a hammer. Water did not enter from anywhere BUT THROUGH THE THE ZIPS. there are flaps over the zips but because it was windy, the flaps' velcro bits, which should be top to bottom rather than 3 little patches, flapped and water made its way through the zips. Now when I say water I mean a few little drops on the floor. But when you think about 6 set of zips, it is 6 sets of tiny droplets which may splash on things that should avoid water but we were OK really. During the heat, the windows gave a nice airy space when needed. People said it was breezy at night as window nets let cold air in considering there is a gap between them and the flysheet but in a sleeping bag, well wrapped up- we didn't feel anything. Our very little son wasnt bothered either. It is very spacious and easy to set up- even by one person. You may want to watch videos on youtube if unsure but you cant go wrong with colour coding. Fly sheet may be a bit of a hassle trying to put over a very high tent once erected. But there are easy ways (youtube videos) of doing it. After all, I would suggest this tent for heavy campers as wel as first timers- families and small groups. We haven't used the room divider as we liked the feeing of its big open space. It also has two mats which we used as indoor shoe mats by the two entrances. I have read people moaning that water goes down the flysheet and through the doors when it rains. I found two solutions to this: 1- keep the damn doors closed. It is still airy enough with everything zipped up anyway. 2- give it a punch or two (on the doors) and wait for 5-10 seconds for water droplets to flow down before entering/leaving the tent. My problem was putting it back into its carrier bag after using it!! It happened but took a while... practice made it better. But it was a hassle for me. Hope this review helps if you're in doubt about this product.

Good warm weather tent with a decent height inside, and a REAL DOOR. ish.
Good tent, and we are happy. This isn’t my first tent, but I chose to buy this one as I’m 6’2” and am sick of stooping in tents! It’s nice and tall inside (but the top of the door is still low) and feels spacious. The proper opening door is fantastic. We use a bungee cord to hold it open if we need to, as it does always close itself. We had quite a bit of rain on one night, but it performed great, no issues. Putting it up is very easy. Much less stressful than fibre glass poled tents. I put it up and take it down on my own with no hassles. It’s easiest to put the poles in, then drape the outer sheet over before lifting and sitting the poles in the base. Throwing the top sheet over can be tricky on your own. With two people it’s a doddle (use the guy lines). There ISN’T an inlet for a power cable to come in, which is disappointing. We didn’t have electric on our first trip, but we have on the next. It may have to just come through the door, but as the zips ONLY meet halfway up, the cable will probably pull the bottom zip down. It’s not ideal. It comes with groundsheet style door mats which is a nice touch, but there is no groundsheet/footprint available. And with British camping, I’d recommend one. I bought a 3.5m tarpaulin from Toolstation for a fiver which does the job, it’s just fractionally too small, but it keeps the base dry and protected. The pegs supplied are actually good! A real surprise for a tent to have good pegs as standard. There are loops on two corners and the centre of the roof, to fit the divider, but it would have been handy to have the loops on ALL corners to give you a choice of position, and to be used to hang other things like lights. It is a very bright tent. Great for us, but be aware of that, if you want a darker tent (there is a blackout version available). Now, the tents only major downside. Temperature. If you’re camping in the warm summer days, it’s fantastic. It is incredibly well ventilated, especially when you open up the window “curtains”. But I wouldn’t take this tent on a cold trip (early spring etc) as air constantly flows under the outer tent (which doesn’t touch the ground), and the inner tent is mainly just mesh. It was chilly one night and it woke us all up. There’s no way to warm the tent up, so take extra layers!

This is a very, very good tent!
I am completely in love with this tent. I should begin by mentioning that it is still fairly new so I can't comment on wear and tear over time, but I can say a few things: - it is a beautiful thing. It stands out from the crowd. It's colourful and original and with the windows open it feels like a gazebo, and I can't get enough of the door that opens like a real door! - Coleman are a trusted brand for a reason. Within a couple of uses, this tent has been put through it's paces and come out with top marks. It has survived strong winds, torrential rain, hailstones the size of marbles and a muddy river flowing underneath it making walking on the groundsheet feel like walking on a waterbed. No leaks whatsoever. Totally dry inside. - little things matter... like high quality tent pegs that don't bend as soon as they feel stone, and a hook in the centre to hang up a lamp - it is SO easy to put up and take down - it is big. I'm a tall girl and love the fact I can walk around the WHOLE of the inside with a lot of headroom to spare. That being said, you're only going to fit 8 people sleeping in it if you have a separate space for cooking outside of the tent. I like to set it up with the curtain in the middle to separate it into a sleeping space and a cooking/eating space. I set my camp kitchen up like a home-kitchen... a table for washing up, a table for my 2 camp stoves, a shelving unit for storage, and a double fold out seat in the living area, and that leaves room in the sleeping area for... comfortably, no more than 3 people I'd say. We had 2 people and a puppy bed last trip. That was pretty spacious.

Best Tent yet!
I have used this tent for several weekends with and without the additional porch which can be purchased separately from many camping outlets. For a couple this tent has a glamping feel but tolerates moderate winds well and is easy to set up. Unlike a lot of tents it has good ventilation even when completely closed. This is because the inner tent has the doors and fly sheet is open at both door ends. A different and well thought out design with steel poles and an octagon shape which make it very robust considering it has full standing height across the entire inner tent. The hinged access door is not gimmick as it is easy to open and shut so bugs don’t get inside. Although well ventilated I did not find it colder than other tents I have used even on autumn nights. In fact the ventilation reduces condensation. There is also very little increase in CO2 levels during the night as measured with an air quality meter. In hot weather the fly sheet can be unzipped and folded back on six sides and the inner mesh still prevents bugs getting in. Even during a heat wave the tent could be tolerated inside. There is a divider which can be placed across the middle of the tent which is not very useful for a couple when camping. If there were more tags a section could be easily divided off for a on-suite washing/toilet area and privacy if windows are open. We achieved this by using fridge type magnets with carabiner snap hooks on the inside attached by using steel washers to back the magnet on the outside of the inner tent.

Unreal tent.!!!
Huge tent. Looks great. Top quality. Took me and my partner about 15 minutes to get the inner tent up. All colour coded, everything just clicks in and it's so easy. Use the couple of guide ropes to pull the outer tent up and over the inside. Easiest and best quality tent i've ever used. Tons of room and headroom. Open the zips up for a fantastic panoramic view. Carry bag is on wheels, got it back in no problem. Perfect.!!!

SHOCKING!!! CHECK BEFORE YOUR CAMPING TRIP!!
SHOCKING - Attempted to erect tent the day before camping so I’d knew what I was doing at the site and check all was good. ALL FOUR RED elbow joints had not been fully machined so impossible to insert any poles. A hard plastic rib needed to be removed on each joint/connector. Had no time to replace the tent so spent hours removing ribs with my Dremel.. not what you’d expect with a brand new tent… I will be contacting Coleman and update here what their response is. There was also a hole at the bottom of the pole bag…. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOUR CAMPING TRIP AS I’VE JUST SEEN A SIMILAR REVIEW!!!

I love this tent for car and festival camping with kids
We have a family of five with toddlers. We bought this tent for car camping and music festival camping with our kids. It fits 3 army cots plus one queen sized Coleman cot with a little space between for walking. The black out room tech is brilliant!! We don’t have to wake up at 5:30 with the fist beams of sunlight with our toddler and preschooler. They sleep in super late, like 0730!! It’s glorious!! There are many details I’ve noticed in this tent that I really appreciate. There are many loops over the ceiling to hang stuff. Four generous sets of pockets for gear. A zipper slit for an electrical chord. The room divider doesn’t divide the room in half. It just blocks off like the the front 1/4 part of the tent and makes it like a vestibule area but it’s required if you want the tent to be very dark since the only real light comes in through the front door. The tent is very water proof. I read some reviews about it being drafty. I have found that if you don’t use guy lines on the tent fly, it’s not very breezy. I love the large hinged door so I don’t have to crawl in and out. Also it automatically swings shut and stays shut with some Velcro which is great since the kids go in and out constantly. Other nice details are a second big door opposite the front. Also, the zippers on the doors have a stop in the middle of the door so you always know where they are-In the middle of the door! Other than the fiberglass poles in the door frame, door hinge and awning, all the poles are good quality steel. The stakes that come with it are crap though. I recommend staking the base before setting it up. The first time we did it, it was windy and kept taking sail. Staking it down first made it so much easier. Overall. An awesome tent. Reasonable weight for the the size and quality with lots of thoughtful details. I set it up again today, alone, in about 20 minutes but had to have my husband help me with the rain fly. I could have probably done it alone with a ladder or chair though. It’s a nice tall tent. It’s great!

Amazing tent!
I had a really nice tent that I've been going camping in for 15 years. It finally started falling apart so I decided it had to be replaced. I spent hours reading reviews, checking features, watching videos, etc. I finally decided on this tent and now that I've taken it on it's first camping trip I know that I made the right choice! What I liked : It's huge! I had a large queen size blow-up bed, 2 "end tables" (small square folding camp tables) on either side of the bed, my suitcase and all the camping storage bags (tent bag, chair & table bags, etc) in the tent and still had plenty of room to walk around. It's also tall! I'm over 6ft and could walk around easily and almost all the way to the edge since the wall are practically straight. My wife and I set it up easily (the instructions are sewn into the storage bag) and it didn't take us more than about 15 minutes. It also felt really sturdy! The poles are nice and strong and even though the place we camped was in a bit of a higher wind area, it barely shook when the wind gusted (and I didn't even stake down the guy-wires attached to the fly). Putting it away was also fairly easy. I was worried about this after reading reviews, but we had no trouble taking it down and it all fit easily back into the storage bag. What I didn't like : I had a couple really minor complaints...the swinging door is a bit of a hassle. The ground we were on wasn't totally level so the door ended up not shutting quite right. The little velcro pieces that hold it closed didn't line up exactly, so we usually had to zip it closed due to the wind blowing it open. And the door zipper was constantly catching on the tent fabric so you had to be really careful when using that zipper. This wasn't a huge deal but kind of annoying. Also, it doesn't have an opening for an extension cord. We camp at state parks where power is almost always available so it's nice to run a cord into the tent. We ended up running it through the "back door" of the tent and then tied the zipper pulls together to hold the cord in place. Again, this wasn't that big of a deal but I missed having a dedicated place to put the cord. Overall, great tent! It's so roomy that it really made this years camping trip a pleasure!
