Deliciously moist little cakes just big enough for a treat. Or two for an indulgence. Made from ingredients that I might use myself (if I had enough time or enough skill to bake) these feel like a wholesome treat. (Even the invert sugar in the list is perfectly natural product many home bakers also use.) So at a time when we are being told to avoid highly-processed food, and when the ingredients list on so many products looks more like the cupboard contents of a science lab than something edible these seem like a healthy option! These are very traditional little cakes, and anyone regarding themselves as even vaguely literate and tasting one can hardly avoid regretting they never finished that book (except for a few who feel smug because they did!) in which madeleines feature so prominently. (And that almost Proustian sentence was perhaps a result of my greedily eating three in a row!) Traditional they may be but they are each wrapped in their own little bag that preserves their delicious moistness almost indefinitely, (Though anyone who has the self-restraint to keep a bag for long enough for them to go stale even unwrapped earns my admiration.) So whether these are a new treat or they perhaps remind you of times gone by you are sure to delight in these light little puffs of moist sponge.

Not what I expected, I thought they would be crunchy but they're actually soft, they're basically like a twinky but without the filling. Pretty nice

Très bonnes madeleines si nous ne regardons pas les calories et les taux de sucre qui sont relativement élevés... Je recommande quand même.

De bonnes madeleines bien moelleuses ! Très bonnes, un peu grasses mais bon, on ne peut pas manger de bonnes choses sans faire de concessions !

Trop bonnes

Le paquet de madeleine était complètement ouvert. Pourtant le reste de la commande était bien fermé . Ceci est inadmissible, vous auriez dû changer le paquet.
