Both are very helpful and respond rather quickly. I was able to convert 8- 8mm tapes and 12- mini dvi tapes over to digital. One thing I wish I had done back in the day was purchase cleaning tapes because after sitting for so long my camera's all needed some good cleaning. I used it to convert vhs and Hi 8, you can tell the video improvement from each level but it doesn't compare with even my videos from the digital tape let alone any of the newer formats. The quality is the same as playing a vhs tape through the vcr to a tv. Is it true you cannot view what is being streamed?** A: The manual says no preview of the AUDIO.
