Not comfortable to hold
I bought this curling iron since it works in Europe. I haven’t left for my trip yet but tried it out at home, and I have to agree with the other reviews: while it’s light and does curl well, the lever is unusually short and hard to reach. If I had smaller hands, it definitely wouldn’t work. And you really do have to be careful you don’t turn it off or change the temp while you’re using it, since the controls are right where your hand is. It’ll work for France (I hope!) but I would NOT use this as my everyday curling iron.

Works great
Heats fast. Gives my long hair pretty curls. The long reach to the handle is the only thing I have trouble with because of my small hands. But I'd still recommend it.

amazing iron
I love this iron, there’s no wait for it to get up to heat. It gives the perfect curls, and it’s actually curls unlike my 1.25 inch that just gives me waves. I don’t like that it’s lowest temp is 270F because I usually like it around 230F, but it still works great for my hair!! And for those wondering the temp goes up to 450F.

The long size is really helpful.
I have limited range of motion in my right shoulder and this curling iron’s length allows me to reach areas all around my head. I was unable to reach the back very well in the last year and now I’m getting to all the places I want easily. I don’t love the way you have to set the heat control and it seems hotter than I need but the length, appearance, and construction are top notch.

Too darn long
This iron was way too long for me to even try it. I am used to marcel irons and love them but needed some irons for vacation but these are way too long to even deal with.

Metal clamp damages my hair it is too sharp... But like it otherwise and am using it but can't use the clamp

Very long
It is a very long curling iron and I wanted it for travel. I returned today.

Loved it at first...
This was great at first! Loved the way it styled, the extra-long barrel is very convenient, but the finish started coming off the barrel after about a month and now it catches my hair. Too late to return, so that's a bummer.
