Scripts and Strategies in Hypnotherapy: The Complete Works

Another fantastic resource book. This book is divided into sections including excellent sections for stress management, weight loss and smoking cessation. I bought this when I was training and I continue to use it regularily for ideas and inspiration for my practice. The scripts are elegant with plenty of methaphors and a good mixture of direct and indirect suggestions. In fact I would say this is probably the most used resource I have. If you have only money to buy one book then this is the one I would most recommend.

A decent book, a little outdated but a great foundation, for helping you to write your own hypnosis scripts (Patter) Many conditions covered... You won't be disappointed, with this book especially if you use it, to help you write your own material, I.e adapt it to your own style, or clients needs 😊

If you're just starting out of want some pointers on building classic hypnosis scripts then this book is for you. If you're looking for something more Ericksonian then you'll need to look elsewhere. There's scripts are direct suggestion scripts and although they're very good you should use them as a starting point for your own work. If your are more directive in you're approach then take these scripts and rewrite them in your own voice. A worthwhile addition too any hypnotherapy library.

Lovely book

I found all the scripts very helpful, not only to use in their true form but in order to help me word my own scripts. Hugely beneficial to my clients, came highly recommended and I am pleased to say it ticked every box for me too.

Very useful for training, some of the scripts may seem a bit dated but its easy to modify them.

This is an excellent tool for any Hypnotherapist. It is informative, easy to use and very clear. It has opened my eyes to new ways of supporting my clients. Strongly recommend this book to anyone starting out in field

This is PERFECT!

Very detailed in techniques.

My husband is halfway through hypnotherapy certification studies and has used many of the scripts (both as is and made to fit his particular patient) and has been told by many in his class that his scripts are effective and useful. When he told of this book, many of them went out and purchased it. Only halfway through the course, he has now amassed many hypno/NLP literature, but does rely on this book's gems as the basis for his more in-depth scripts. I am awaiting the next edition coming to me in a few days and hope he finds just as many helpful and useful scripts in which to base his new techniques on.

It's to the point, tells you what you need to know without all the filler stuff. Lots and lots of scripts. This one is a keeper. Great information to the hypnotherapist. If you are not using this book in your office then get it. Everything that you need is in this book. I don't know were to start, it has everything for any kind of session and even some that I have never seen.

It's not a great intro to hypnotherapy, but it is a very useful collection of scripts. My clients find them very helpful.
