This Food Huggers butter cover is a great invention. It works very well and fits the end of the butter stick perfectly. It is very convenient, much better than using a piece of plastic wrap or a bag. It is both sturdy and flexible so I think it will last a long time.

Honestly, this concept is so simple, yet so smart. It solves an age-old problem in the kitchen. Butter sticks are wrapped in paper handily marked with measurements for cooking/baking. Some cooks cut the stick on the measuring mark, paper and all. The problem is that now you have butter exposed on one end of the stick. How do you keep it fresh? You've got to put it in a ziploc bag or other container, or wrap it in plastic wrap or foil. To avoid this issue, some cooks open the wrapper and cut the butter without cutting through the paper - leaving it to re-wrap the remainder of the stick. But it's not easy ensuring you're cutting in the right spot when the measuring marks are on the other side of the wrapper. This handy little gadget solves that issue! Now I can cut on the measuring marks - through both butter and wrapper - and still keep my butter fresh by capping the cut end with this little guy.
