I bought this gift for my husband and I to record the story for our granddaughter, who lives across the ocean. My husband and I had so much fun recording the story for her. It comes with easy to follow instructions and the outcome of turning the page and hearing your own voice reading the page is so special. I highly recommend this book, especially for those who are apart from their kids/grandkids. We put a picture of us in the front of the book, on the dedication page. This will become a keepsake for her. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Bought this for my elderly mother to record for her great grandchildren so they will always have her recorded voice. Such a great idea, and meant so much to our family.

Really cute story overall but I was thrown by a religious page in the book. I didn't see that in the description and would've just chosen another book if I'd known because we're just not religious people. If you are not a religious family and prefer books that don't discuss deities with small children, I recommend buying a different book. Overall, the book is adorable however. The illustrations are really great and the story is perfect for grandparents who live close and far away. As a result, I will be keeping the book and just doing a bit of editing on one page. If you are a religious grandparent with a religious grandchild, this book will be perfect. If you're marginally religious, this book would probably still be okay. If you're not at all religious and don't mind a wee bit of editing involving a piece of paper and clear tape, then this book is still good but at least be forewarned.

I rec’d this book 6 weeks after ordering. Pulled it out to give ❤️ day since Christmas had passed. It does not record correctly. Skips pages. I tried replacing batteries. Re recorded many times and never got it to work. I’m very sad because when I looked back on the order it’s about 2 weeks after the return window. If it had gotten here for Christmas I would have immediately know it was defective. Now I’m out of money and product. Makes me sick
