$35 for a single pair of boxers and they don't even have a fly! Get ready to pull your underwear down like you're just out of potty training because Smartwool cheaped out.They also don't have much leg coverage which depending on your personal preference might be a bonus, but for me it doesn't feel comfortable. Out of all my "active" boxers these are by far the worst AND the most expensive. I should have stayed with REI brand.

Tested the snelly and swam lines in a camping trip. These can go 2-3 days max w/o being washed get a little swampy and stretchy late in the 3rd. I’d recommend em for a two day wear if needed, beyond that they start to lose functionality. Regular daily use they are great!

Great fit and performance without the itch.

I've had 6 pair of Ridge Merino wool underwear for over a year now. They've held up great, display all the properties you want out of Merino underwear (odor resistance, sweat wicking, etc). I'm a creature of habit so when it was time for freshies my wife encouraged me to try another brand. I LOVE Smartwool socks...they are all I wear year round. So I bought these, a pair of Woolly's, a pair of Merino Protect, and a pair of Merino.tech to see what I liked best.I THOUGHT it would be the Smartwool's. They do all the Merino underwear stuff...BUT after a day of wearing they are super stretched out and baggy. I like my boxer briefs to stay snug...which probably means some level of synthetic fiber but I'm willing to accept that.Amazon says that shoppers find videos and images more helpful than text alone but I'll spare you pictures and video of me in stretched out underwear:)

The material is amazing. However, the size as determined by the waist - fits well, but there is absolutely no stretch around the thighs etc. Feels more like a very good sleepwear than hiking shorts.
