Q: does this include a separate pouch for packing it?

No separate pouch needed. The jacket folds into the right pocket and makes a nice pouch. Takes a little squeezing but it does work. Makes a nice pillow. Has a hook, too.

Q: What is the use of the little snaps inside the sleeves and inside the collar?

Great question. Many insulation layers (fleece and down jackets) have matching snaps or tethers. That way you can attach the insulation layer to your your rainshell. When temperatures are cool, you can just put on and take off both jackets at one time like they are just one jacket.

Other than the description stating that the seams are sealed, I can't say for sure because of the mesh layer lining hiding the seams. I am very pleased with the jacket. Good fit.

Q: Is the inner pocket really velcro-closeable or does it zip-close and have a velcro (storm) flap, and does the pocket close securely and completely?

No inner pockets only side pockets that use zippers as does the front of the jacket . The hoodie pocket that rolls under the collar uses a velcro tab to keep the hoodie in place under the collar when not in use .
