Midori never disappoints and this notebook is my new fave. It's chunky, lies flats with quality paper that my pens don't bleed through. I use this for my daily journal and I look forward to cracking it open every morning. 10/10 no notes

Midori is my favorite notebook brand, I've been using their standard lined A5 notebooks, but this time I wanted to try the codex. I was nervous it wouldn't work for me with its 5mm dotted format. After buying it + a clear cover, I'm relieved to say I'm loving it. That Midori paper quality simply cannot be beaten, plus the lovely minimalist design I've come to expect, it just looks and feels fantastic. The codex is a better value for your money too considering how many pages you get. I highly highly recommend this if you're comfortable with 5mm dot spacing, otherwise get the blank version.

Have become my favorite notebooks! Will be the ONLY thing I’ll be using both for school notes and for my journals. There’s no bleed through the grid is perfect yet light enough to not be distracting. The variation in sizes makes it so easy to work with. I’m in love.

The paper quality is excellent, it lays flat, the paper is bleed resistant, and the it feels smooth but sturdy. The cover is the same color as the paper and it lives up to the simple elegance common to Midori products. I recommend a cover to keep the cover from becoming grungy or tearing. However, I do not recommend this for first time journalers as the blankness of the pages can be a bit overwhelming. I recommend starting with the Midori 1 or 3 year journal which provides a bit more structure and guidance. Just my two cents... over all a high quality product.

O caderno vem sem capa. Aí você precisa comprar a capa separado, uma pequena fortuna. Pra no final, a capa não caber no caderno. Lamentável, ninguém te informa nada.

Love this Midori 1 day 1 page journal, the beautiful cream paper is a joy to write on with fountain pens and I haven't experienced any bleed through, only very slight ghosting because of the thin paper, which I don't mind. LOVE how it lays flat on every page. I haven't found myself using the tear-off page corners yet, because I prefer to number pages in the bottom corner. The dot grid is nice and subtle, gives the feel of a blank page creativity-wise but gives helpful guidelines for ruling and writing.

Absolutely lovely these notebooks. Have purchased two of them, and they are great paired with the plastic covers! High quality paper. Most fountain pen inks work well on it, but found that some of the more watery inks sit on top of the paper.

Yo lo uso principalmente para registrar mi día a día, pero es una libreta sumamente versátil que funciona perfecto para lettering, escritura, arquitectura o dibujo. Esto es lo que a mi punto la hace destacar tras usarla constantemente: • Calidad del papel y Dot Grid: El papel es sumamente suave y el color crema, combinado con los dots en un tono verde muy sutil, le da un aspecto limpio y elegante. La matriz de puntos es perfecta para ayudarte a escribir lo más derecho posible sin la distracción de las líneas tradicionales, logrando que el texto luzca impecable. • Compatibilidad con plumas (un pequeño matiz): Se comporta excelente con la gran mayoría de las plumas. Como único paréntesis, al ser un papel tan suave, si usas plumas Montblanc puede llegar a sentirse una falta de fricción que no te permita escribir de la mejor forma. Sin embargo, si utilizas un punto fino o un plumín que ofrezca algo más de fricción en la punta, la experiencia es una maravilla y fluye perfecto. • Encuadernación plana: El sistema de cosido de las hojas es una joya. Puedes abrir el cuaderno en cualquier página y se queda completamente recto y plano sobre la mesa, sin esos molestos dobleces incómodos en el centro. Incluso poniéndole un protector o cobertor externo, mantiene esa apertura total. • Detalles funcionales: Me encanta que incluya esquinas inferiores derechas recortables; es una forma muy práctica de marcar las páginas que ya usaste y llegar directo a la hoja en blanco disponible. Además, con sus 360 páginas, tienes espacio de sobra para llevar un registro diario casi de todo el año. Sin duda es un producto sumamente recomendado para cualquiera que busque un cuaderno de alta calidad que respete y eleve sus herramientas de escritura.
