I bought this for my nine year old and I put it together by myself. All told it took me about six hours, and one hour of that was just unboxing the pieces and carrying them by myself to my second floor. As long as you go slow and stay organized and double check that you are using the correct pieces, it went together just great as expected and I didn't have to take anything apart or drill extra holes. All the hardware I needed was provided and the holes were where they were supposed to be. it's not super great quality materials and I'm going to go over many parts of it with white electrical tape to smooth down some sharp edges, but all in all I'm glad I bought it and I would recommend it to others.

The quality of wood is poor and many boards split during installation. Lamination is coming off of some boards. A few components were mis-marked (but not that big of a deal). Once put together, the bed was extremely wobbly and required the additional purchase of support mechanisms. It took a long time to put the bed together.It’s a throw-away bed that will need to be replaced sooner rather than later.
