Great shoes
These shoes are very comfortable and have complete support. Their quality seems to be holding up. Bought these shoes about 4 months ago and normally I buy new balance which is also a good shoe for heal/foot pain, and still in new condition. These shoes are a stylish and very comfy for those who have chronic foot pain. I'd buy them again.

I wish I knew about these sooner.
I have a real bad case of planters, both feet, the pain, the cramping, in heel, really bad arch cramps, ball of the foot, up the ankles, the shim pain/cramps (only relief is screaming), the calf and hamstring cramps. Those of us that suffer from this, know we are all different and we try anything and everything for relief, which I did. Countless pairs of shoes, just about everything on Amazon, exercises, massaging, custom and non-custom inserts and a long list of other things. A few of the things gave me some relief but it was temporary. I went from being very active to being unable to walk more than 100 feet or so, without being in agony. My life was negativity impacted, I could not function like a normal person, always in agony, not being able to walk and having to leave functions early because of pain. People said things to me, I am a small person and I work out with weight, I got a lot comments about looking like I was in great shape which led a snarky what is wrong with you. We all know comments effect our mental wellbeing. Someone I volunteer with, who has planter symptoms similar to mine, told me these shoes changed her life and I need to get a pair. I did because I will try anything for relief. I wish I knew about these shoes, a year ago because I really suffered with planters this past year. This summer, it was unbearable, consistent cramping and agony, which I knew some of the pain was related to the mule type of "sneakers" was wearing, maybe too often. My PT did talk to me about these mules and flip flops, more than once. I get them, the instructions include, they must be snug. This is something my PT went over with me, there are inserts that you have to try out for the snuggest fit and with the type of socks you wear most often., this is REALLY important. You are supposed to break them in, these shoes make you walk "right", heel to toe, with a roll, which stretches the arch, the PT exercise includes stretching out your toes. These shoes are much easier to walk the "right" way than the PT exercise. This shoes also prevent you from "toe walking" up the stairs. They DO take a while to get used to, you will also notice pings in muscles because the "right" muscles are being fired. I think the instructions include for a "few" days. My PT called this "mindful walking", you do not have to think about it with these shoes. Second day I had them, I wore them to my volunteer job, which includes standing on pavement for hours, first time in over a year I made it for the five hours......no pain, no cramps, no screaming. I have had them 17 days now, I can be on my feet and walk for hours again! Yesterday it was 14 hours.....no pain or screaming or wanting to go home. My life has completely changed, already. Since I have had them, I did have one MINOR attack of cramping, which was a several times a day thing and there were very few nights I did not wake up screaming in cramping pain. It was not as intense and short in duration, I was able to walk it out, in a few minutes. My husband even noticed the difference in me.....I am able to walk, not complaining about pain or demanding to go home. These shoes changed my life, I know it is going to take a while, there will be setbacks, but I am on the way to being my normal self. Not everything works for everyone, these are worth a try.

Happy Feet!
OMG! These shoes are the best! I ordered a pair after accidently finding my first pair at yard sale. they were 1 size too big; but served the purpose for work once I put in my arch supports. They were so comfortable and helped eliminate a mild case of plantar fasciitis. I could not find the brand in any shoe store. When I found them online, I had to order me a new pair in my size. I agree with every raving review I read from other buyers of this walking shoe. The heel sole of this shoe contributes to a light floating stride and pain-free heel discomfort. I have wide feet and this is the only tennis shoe that offers an XX wide width. I ordered SZ 8 XX for my 7.5 feet to be on the safe side and it was a wise choice for me. I wore this shoe every day during a nine-day walking tour. Not one time did my feet hurt upon removing the shoes at the end of the day. A bit pricey. But I am tired of wasting money on shoes that appear to fit fine in the store, only to find out after 2 weeks of wear, you can't wait to get them off your feet!.

Supportive but numb toes
I did research on gdefy vs hokas and in the end I chose gdefy for - price point (cheaper than hokas but still pricey for sneakers) - hokas are more for athletes looking for supportive shoes to run in while gdefy is for folks w feet pain (me!) looking for support as they walk/commute/do daily life things I only had these for a few days and have walked about 12-15 miles in them over several walks. Pros - very comfortable right from the beginning - adjustable with double soles for fit - Comfortable to walk in despite my inflamed and throbbing heel pain. - i like that they gave me an extra sole pair Cons - After a 30-45 min walk, however, my toes / ball of feet started to go numb/hurt forcing me to slow down , Not sure why that is -- maybe I need to break them in, get used to it. I come from years of wearing minimalist shoes so all this extra bulk and support is new to me. - Despite putting both soles in and tightening the shoelaces, my heels still lift slightly as I walk. hoping these shoes will help in the long run as I'm really tired of limping around and grimacing with every step.

Very surprised at these; super cute, supportive, comfortable. Definitely worth trying.
I wear Ideal Feet orthotics, I have for over 15 years. I had ordered a bunch of shoes to try, different brands. I was disappointed in the first four pairs that arrived—Three were not supportive enough, with foam that collapsed under my foot. Another was just ugly and uncomfortable. I almost cancelled this order for the G-DEFY shoes to stick with my prior brand. I really expected them to be just like the others. I am really very surprised. The shoes feel amazing. They have “foam” but they feel just as supportive as my prior shoes, very much so (I tried one on of each, together); yet they feel like they have so much more cushion and impact absorption when I walk. They feel very, very good on my feet, and with my orthotics, also when I walk. And they have a higher heel than my others, which I wanted to support my achilles. I am under 40, and they are super cute. I ordered the Mighty Walk Women’s walking shoe, in the “gray” color with light sole and black accents. They seem great for work. I really appreciate that they have a 60 day guarantee, because I need to see if they continue to hold up as I wear them. I will update my review. I pronate, and these shoes seem like they will be very good for that. I have never worn such tall tennis shoes, but they feel very, very comfortable—unlike some other taller shoes I had tried on, which all felt very awkward and unnatural, and not supportive. These feel pillowy, yet very supportive. Again, I need to wear them over time, but I’ve never tried on shoes like these before. Very grateful to get to try them.

No extra wide, uncomfortable.Feels like you're standing on marbles. rub on your ankles everywhere.
I really wanted to like this shoe multiple issues going on with it. The left shoe feels differently made in the right one. It rides up and rubs on the side of my ankle. On the side of my foot. I also ordered a 9.5 extra wide. The shoe is very tight in the mid section. It squeezes my feet & my feet hang over the sides. I have an average wide foot. My toes are also are rubbing on the ends of the shoe. I don't understand that either. As my normal size is a 9. also on the left shoe It feels like underneath the top part of my foot like I'm standing on 2 marbles. I don't understand where that's coming from. There's 2 lumps in the top part of a sole of the shoe. It's extremely uncomfortable. It doesn't have a lot of bend to it when you walk. An the part that goes around your whole ankle rides up way too high an rubs All the way around. All I have done is put the Miller Walker on the house. They're so uncomfortable. I have to take them off. If these are an extra wide, you must have to have a really skinny narrow like an extra narrow foot for your foot to fit in a normal shoe. Because I don't understand how these can be extra wide and my feet are hanging over the edges of the sides of the shoe. Also, very overpriced for what you're getting. There is definitely, There's better shoes out there. I just have to find it for a wide foot. So Disappointed I really really wanted to like these.

Arch support doesn’t seem quite right.
I’ve been excited waiting for these shoes with my fingers crossed that this shoe would relieve a lot of pain. The shoes come with 3 pairs of inserts. The “comfort fit” are preinstalled. The “corrective fit” inserts have more arch support and can replace the “comfort fit” inserts. The third set of inserts are the thin “perfect fit” insoles that can be installed underneath the other insoles if the shoe feels too loose. The shoes were too loose for my medium width feet with low arch so I did use the flat yellow inserts called “perfect fit” to take up more space in the shoe. I checked the correct fit and they initially didn’t feel supportive enough to my arches so I installed the corrective fit insoles. I found the corrective fit insoles to be an improvement for my arch but unfortunately the arch support still did not follow the full length of my arch. This left my arch hanging, so to speak, which I knew would be uncomfortable in a very short amount of time. Utterly disappointed I dropped the shoes back in the box thinking I would need to send them back. I did come back to them the next day and wore the corrective fit inserts. With the corrective inserts I felt my hips start to hurt so I think a different insole with a degree of support between the two would be better. Alternatively, the “correct fit” with an arch support that actually extends a little further down the insert would work better for me. I decided to stick with the comfort fit for now. I was hoping the rocker on these would help relieve pressure on my heels but I’m not feeling that. I’ve worn clogs and sandals by Alegria with rocker soles so I knew that they reduced my heel pain somewhat (just not enough for hours of wear anymore.) I put on a lot of miles at work, all on hard concrete floors. I have only been able to wear these shoes 1-3 hours at work before my heels become painful again. The shoes are clunky which I kinda like. I’ve actually been receiving compliments on them as if the shoes are some kind of fashionable platform sneaker. LOL That’s fine. I ordered a women’s medium 10.5 which is my usual size and the fit has been good. What I do like: the toe box is plenty roomy so no toe squeezing or rubbing. The shoe doesn’t have any rough spots around the heel or pinky toes that I sometimes experience with some athletic shoes. The color is good and the black is consistently deep in tone over the entire shoe regardless of the mix of materials. The rocker heel seems stable and I’ve managed not to trip or twist my ankle while wearing them which says something for a klutz like me. I’m not feeling confident that I’m going to want to keep these shoes long but I haven’t given up just yet. I will tell you though that each day I wear the Defyers I eventually decide to change my shoes because my feet are hurting until I put my OoFos slides back on. Unfortunately the slides cannot be a long term solution for work which is why I’m looking for an athletic shoe. I’ll come back and update my review after more time has passed.

Good shoes , if they send you the size you ordered.
The shoes would have been wonderful if Amazon would’ve sent me the right size ! I ordered an 8 1/2 Extra Wide , and I received an 8 Wide on my doorstep last week. I returned them the very next day. This happened to me with the same pair 3 years ago. I did send them back , and I ordered them again , and got the right size, then ! They were the most comfortable shoes I ever had, to stand on my feet all day. I don’t know if should trust them to order my right size again !

Amazing shoes for back pain
Extremely good shoes worth the money. I suffer with a fractured spine and unable to walk much without pain. With this shoes I have walked for more than 5 to 6 hours without much pain. Love it.

Received today with good condition. Comfortable. I bought size 39 EU X Wide. I bought also with different size with 40EU same brand. Both af the shoes really fit me although 40 little bit bigger, but after putting another insole and use thick sock it really nice and fit well. Nice for my toe also. Will try to jog with this shoe and will review later..

Not true to UK size
The shoes would have got 5 stars but I have not been successful in obtaining a shoe size that fits me. Usual UK size 7 too short in length. Toes were squashed into the end of shoe. The shoes themselves are well designed for plantar fasciitis feet with removable orthotic insoles.
