Works well, keep my mouth healthy = no bad breath. Hopefully it will help with receding gum.

I just received this and I’m wondering what this is at the top of the bottle… It states to shake well but I’m a little reluctant to put it in my mouth now. Please advise.

Just like everyone who has researched natural remedies to help your gums, I came upon oil pulling.I've tried with organic coconut oil, but wanted something that was made specifically for this condition. When I came upon the PerioPull I thought I found the solution.The pros: 1. This is shelf stable. Unlike coconut oil, it does not become a solid when exposed to cold temperatures. I don't have to use a spoon to scrape it out of the container in the winter. 2. It is much easier to measure since it is always in a liquid form. 3. There are other ingredients that are beneficial for the teeth and gums. 4. There is a slight minty flavoring.However, this product is significantly more expensive than a jar of organic coconut oil. The results so far have not justified the price. It is bit lighter in texture than plain coconut oil, but after swishing in the mouth, it still results in the same foamy goop. I was hoping the minty flavoring would make it more refreshing, but it was so subtle that it was hardly noticable. I will update this review if after using the entire bottle I notice an improvement versus my usually oil pulling with coconut oil.

This oil pull only tastes like coconut, there is no mint flavor at all. The directions say to use but do not rinse after. This leaves a film on your teeth that is slightly uncomfortable. Be careful not to spill this anywhere, especially your clothing. This oil is low viscosity, gets everywhere, and is hard to clean up.

I really want to like this product. I thought the idea behind was great, but I can’t go pass the texture of oil in my mouth. And the fact that you are not supposed to wash it out with water after using it gave me a horrible sense in my mouth for a long time after I brushed my teeth. Also, some of my family members tried it as well and they have the same opinion. Maybe this is a matter of getting used to having oil in your mouth but the flavor wasn’t even good either.

I got this because I have forever been trying to help my receding gums. I have tried everything it seems except these ingredients that I wish I had come across sooner. Now thankfully I was able stop my gums from receding more. I have been using a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine gluconate which is an antiseptic and that is what has helped me the most. However it has not improved my situation. And neither has the extra brushing flossing etc. And truth be told after studying the ingredients in this according to some studies I am looking at,, the chance of major improvement are iffy. But it is not impossible. This however without doubt IMO will help my gums in some way or another (may). I actually think this will help them be the healthiest they been in decades (may).To briefly cover the ingredients lets start with the MCT oil. Many studies indicate it prevents bacteria and plaque and prevents gum disease and tooth decay (may). Then we have two formulations from bixa orellana which is an evergreen shrub and there is 2 copyrighted formulations GG gold and Delta Gold from this plant . The delta gold is primarily a tocotrienol which is in the vitamin e family and known for anti inflammation and periodontal disease treatment. The GG Gold is geranylgeraniol which helps the bone sockets in the gums. The bromelain ( which I take orally) is an antioxidant and is surprisingly ( at least to me) very effective in removing stains on the teeth and making them very white.Last ingredient which is my favorite. The ubiquinone which I take for my heart and I am very familiar with. It really surprised me with application to the gums. It provides energy (ATP~Adenione Triphosphate) to the cells in you gums ( when they are exposed to the coq10/ubiquinone that is in this mouthwash) to be able to attack the inflammation with its antioxidant and anti inflammation properties (may). This could potentially eradicate the periodontal disease (may) with time or at least halt progression (may).So yes this is IMO a fantastic formulation that I think will work. Now I've got pockets that are 8 and 9 deep so I think I would need at least a year if not more of this ( without Doctor intervention). Thankfully I do have an appointment with a periodontist in a month and a half and hopefully this will improve my situation so the procedure will be simpler. And heal quicker. Like I said, I sure wish I had come across this earlier as I think I would have done much better. But better late than never. I am very happy to have come across this and I am all 10 stars on this with fingers crossed. Best of Luck and hope this was helpful.

Interesting fluoride & alcohol-free mouthwash, I have never used oil before as a mouthwash, but I am pleasantly surprised how well it works, teeth feel coated and protected, and the taste is good as-well, I personally thought it had more of a coconut flavor with a hint of mint, but not really and issue, this mouthwash does require you to swish it around for 1-3 minutes, spit out, and not to rinse afterwards, I was a bit concerned with the last step since it said swallowing some could cause upset stomach, but that wasn't and issue for me, and it didn't cause any teeth sensitivity or other issues except leaving mouth clean and refreshed.MCT oil is good for preventing bad breath, tooth decay, and gum disease, CoQ10 helps support gum health, as-well as the other ingredients in this mouthwash.The mouthwash comes in a tinted glass bottle which that's a bit heavy and slippery, so it could be tricky and dangerous in the bathroom, but I still prefer glass to plastic, the bottle should last awhile and only requires just 1 tsp to swish with, it doesn't have a measuring cup, so I just use the cap which is approx 1 tsp.Overall I recommend, alcohol and fluoride free, nice taste, helps freshen breath and kill bacteria, leaves teeth feeling clean and protected, the exp date is on the bottom of the bottle, my bottle is approx 1 year out (6/24).Made in the USA, GMP Facility, globally sourced ingredients.
