Silky smooth and absolutely tasteless... yum!
I love this distiller for many reasons: - It produces water that tastes of nothing at all and is silky and smooth (if you can describe water as silky!) - It is big enough to produce 4 litres in one go (which means it is quite a big machine and will take up a reasonable footprint on a kitchen work counter - which is something to bear in mind) - The glass carafe is of excellent quality and fits easily into the fridge (although I did struggle putting the handle on the carafe at the start, it was a bit fiddly) - When you finish using the distiller you see this dark watery residue left behind, it even smells bad. I take this as evidence of all the impurities that are being extracted from the water that won't end up in my body! - It comes with a box of filters that should last several months (depending on use) - It comes with a descaler (which you will definitely need because every use leaves scale on the bottom of the distiller) - It does take 5-6 hours to fill up the 4 litre carafe so you have to plan ahead or you can run out of water, but the lengthy process just shows how thorough the distillation process is - Be aware that there will be a bit of a taste to the water at the start, I was disappointed by this until I realised that it disappeared after three or four uses (you don't drink the first batch at all) - It is very easy to use - you just wash it out from the previous use, fill it up and turn it on, then leave. The manual says you can leave it running overnight as it automatically turns off when the process is complete - the fan is noisy - so you probably don't want this running in the background if you're entertaining in the kitchen. I don't really know much about the benefits of distilled water for my body or health, but I bought this because a friend of mine had researched it and was raving about how amazing it was. Having seen the brown smelly residue left behind after distillation, I can well believe it. Now I've had distilled, I don't know if I can ever go back to regular water!

3 years and still works as new!
Soon in 4 months I had this for a 3 years now and honestly never ever had any issues. The water is clean and taste good! Ever since I have not cooked my food or had drinks with any other water but this. I have used it daily since I purchased it. Some days 2 times. Although you always do need to give it few hours to cool down before using again on a row so that I've been doing. The fan or the cooler in it is not cooling the water anymore. so I do get quite very warm water now when its finished. but it is not a problem for me at all. I keep some previous waters in a jar so they are cooler if I need to drink. Im planning to buy another one soon just in case if this one do die one day that I have a backup ready to go. Absolutely highly recommend to anyone. My mind has not been any clearer. Before this distiller I've been drinking a bottled water and it really messed my head (at that time didn't realise it was the bottled water until I stopped drinking it) so that is gone now. I love this! !

Interesting to see what we are really consuming!!!
Placed my order just before Christmas and was really pleased to receive it well in time. Was keen to buy this model as something recommended by Global Healing in the US. Very easy to assemble (I don’t like assembling much). Easy to use also. Found the item and the glass container very durable (as long as you carry the glass container when full with both hands). For me total time from start to finish is 5.5hrs and machine switches off automatically. As loud as a washer/dryer and keeps my cold kitchen warm. I have attached a picture of the residue of water at the bottom - this is water from a house in East London. There is always a white film around the circumference of the inside with a yellow watery substance??? Water feels soft to drink but it tastes very bitter to me, similar to the taste of mineral water (spring water taste is what I prefer). Now I add Celtic sea salt and much more palatable. On one occasion I found white rubbery bits at the bottom 🤔. I will continue to use this knowing that I am doing my part in drinking clean water.

Proudest purchase ever
I used it about 3 times before drinking its water. The 3rd processed water was given to my dog, I was pretty surprised what it did to him. The following day, he threw up and had runny faeces all across our back garden. I was a bit concerned but, I assume it had to do with the purity of the water. I ceased given him any going forward and stick to tap water for him. The first time I drank from it, it seemed very light, empty. Over time, I get more of a crisp taste and have gotten used to it. I love it and will never return to tap. We are based in West Yorkshire and I must admit our water supply up North is much much cleaner than Down South. The distillation leaves the impurities as expected but its no where near as dark brown or appalling compared to others I've seen. I started adding a single pinch of Himalayan salt to add a light flavour and for some minerals. As long as you consume some fruits and some other good vital foods or fresh juices, you can regain that lost minerals and vitamins which you lose from distilled water. I'd buy again, Proudest purchase ever. UPDATE: Nearly 4 years on, and I've still been using this. Performance is still as new and I've only perhaps had 2 attempts at drinking tap water - I was unable to drink more than a sip. I'm soo used to distilled water I can now smell the metallic nauseating smell of tap water. Once your body acclimates to distilled water - any tap water just has an offensive smell and taste.
