Well Built
I am writing about the high quality manufacturing of this product before any rain to evaluate its performance. They have used heavy duty plastic construction. Not flimsy. Very stable. Thick plastic. The design concept is amazing: use an umbrella to divert all the falling water to the periphery chamber; the periphery drains into two outside drains; if the the outside drains are closed the water will overflow into the center chamber and drain via the usual downspout route. I am impressed by the whole concept and design. I am optimistic that it will work.Installation: simple, the most difficult pat being the cutting and removal of a 8.5 inch section of the downspout. My Suggestions for the Manufacturer:1. I hope the manufacturer continues with the good manufacturing quality2. Get some professional to write good instructions for users3. Consider using the rule of righty-righty and lefty-loosy for USA customers. Your product does not follow the conventional threading rules.

Doesn’t come with a flexible hose
This really works. We turn a knob to let rain water in the barrel and when it’s full turn knob off. However, it didn’t come with a hose to connect diverter to the top of the barrel. We purchased one separately but it was a bit stiff and hard to work with. We wanted it to sit on top of the barrel on the grate. We had to tape it down. Diverter works well

Easy to install and works well
I had a set up where I diverted all the drain water to two barrels. This was cumbersome and had a lot of silt in the collection barrels. I installed this device in the gutter drain (took 10 minutes with a hack saw including taking the gutter drain off and reinstalling) and then bought some tube (the kind used for a drip system). The system works well, the water is cleaner than before. When the barrels are full I can shut off the valve.

On your own
While this is a good product there are slim to no instructions. There is a video but is does not really tell you anything about how to put it together. In the US, it is righty tighty, lefty loosey...not with this product, it is just the opposite. Once the screws are on and tightened down, you cannot change without channel locks. Not even an example on You Tube. These folks need some help with written instructions, or a better video. It is a good diverter though if your nerves can make it thru installation.

good idea
I really like this idea of a rainwater collector in my downspout so I can use a hose and put a rain barrel elsewhere, not directly under my downspout. This is a hassle to install, but once it is installed, it seems to work. I like that this can be taken apart to clean the filter. The piece is on the heavier side. Be sure to install it where someone can reach it easily for maintenance. Will update the review after it rains.

Doesn't handle any debris
This design traps debris on the sides where the diverter ledge is and the debris then clogs the output spigot. We had a huge rainstorm and the rain barrel was empty. The diverter should pull out, but I couldn't get it to release which made it difficult to clean. It would probably work fine if you have gutter guards or strainers at the top of the downspouts. If you decide you don't like it, you have an 8" gap in your downspout to repair.
