I had ordered a medium fir my working cocker spaniel and it fitted her perfectly.She didnt seem to mind wearing it.It was a light breathable material that went on and off easily.We wetted the coat every couple of hours on a day that was about 26 degrees.It looked dry after half an hour but touching it it was still damp.She seem very comfortable and was not panting much which is good.

I purchased this coat for my cockapoo who has dense black fur and suffers quite badly in hot weather. I put it on him the day it arrived (2 days earlier than predicted) and took him out on a.very hot day for over 2 hours during which he stayed perfectly cool and happy. This is possibly the best thing i have bought for my dog and don't have to worry about him overheating. The coat is lightweight, easy to wash amd comfortable

I bought this item for my cavalier. I had been using another brand of cool coat for my dog but found that one tricky to put on and, despite being a medium, it was too small.This coat (medium) fitted much better and the material was lovely and soft. The Velcro fastening means you can adjust it slightly to fit your dogs size. I had to immerse the coat in cold water, removed the excess and put it on my dog. She doesn't usually like wearing anything but she seemed perfectly relaxed wearing this coat. It kept the coldness for over 5 hours.It arrived several days earlier than estimated and I had just opted for the standard, free delivery.I would highly recommend this product and will be getting another for my other cavalier.

Bought two medium for my Cavaliers. Fit perfect very light and both dogs seem very comfortable in them

I bought the X-Large for my German Wire Haired Pointer, it fits perfectly, I have used it most days during this hot weather and she actually comes forward to put her head through so I can Velcro it up, I think she realises it helps to keep her cool. It does dry out fairly quickly but these are extraordinary weather conditions for this country and it's easy to wet again. I have wet it and then put in freezer when I take her out but I'm now taking her about 9pm re. the heat so she doesn't need that. A great buy for the price and I recommend it.

My bichon frise suffers from epilepsy and the heat triggers seizures. I have been struggling to keep him cool during some adverse hot weather. A friend recommended this and I am so grateful she did. I had already tried the cool mats but he just wouldn't tolerate them so this is perfect as it stays with him wherever he goes.Its very lightweight too so seems more comfortable for him to wear all day. I just keep taking it off, running it under the cold tap, wringing it out and putting it back on him. It has made a vast difference and he is no longer desperately panting. I would definitely recommend this product and it was such a good price too. Worth every penny!

Initially ordered the XL size as per measurements of our border collie 7mth pup, was massive all over except for the length which was good, returned and ordered a L. Length slightly shorter, but is ok, again it is quite large all over, especially the neckline. It is massive again, so tends to hang underneath him, rather than neck/chest area. The arm straps seem too long and neckhole too large. Any smaller would not cover his body length. Not extortionately hot, but does seem to dry quite quickly, despite him not being in the sun. Slightly disappointed with the material for Ancol, very flimsy and stretchy. Wouldve preferred something with a bit more stability and structure, with a better fitting or more adaptable fitting. Went for Ancol as well known brand and had several of their items before. Don't think I'd recommend to anyone sadly.

I bought (at a dog show) 2 of these coats several years ago for my 2 dogs - sizes 30 and 40. They are getting a bit worn now so I decided to buy some new ones. Sadly I am very disappointed with the new ones and have returned them. They are a different fit and sizing to the old ones, on the old coats the tummy panel is quite long and keeps the whole tum covered and cool, I particularly liked this feature, however on these new ones the tummy panel is much shorter barely cover the dogs tum. The sizing is much smaller, the 30 coat only measures 27. Very disappointed as there are no other coats as good as my old ones.
