Doesn't walk away. :)
Seriously. Our last "electric grinder" walked away while you used it, somehow. It's important for a grinder to grind, without twisting all over the place. I prefer a manual hand grinder, but I roast my beans really light, which means my wife likes to have an automatic option for when I'm not at home...as these beans take a bit more "oomph" to grind. It takes a few minutes - but it does a fine job of grinding to the perfect size uniformly.

Ceramic burr grinder; but, slow and hard to repeat settings.
Though Vendor never describes (but, implies) as such, this is a ceramic burr grinder. In operation, not overly noisy - a mix of of motor noise, beans rattling, and vibration on an hard counter. Vendor says bean capacity is less than 30 grams, and the grinder (I assume, with the exception of the grounds chamber) should NOT be washed in water. <30 grams is small - a 6oz cup of coffee requires 10 grams (roughly 2 tablespoons) of beans. I estimate the tightly-packed capacity is 5-5.5 tablespoons. A brush is supplied for cleaning. It has manual and what appears to be timed shut-off. The top is the motor which separates from the bean chamber with a slight clockwise twist. Line up the icons molded below and inline with the power button, and twist counterclockwise to lock (see Photo A). Below the bean chamber is a clear, friction-fitted chamber for the grounds. Just pull off and push back on. A slight twist may make it easier. The on-off button is REAL sensitive. My unit, using the out-of-the-box grind setting, took about 2min 50sec to grind 10.5 grams of beans to a medium-fine grind. The grind adjustment has 12 clicks per complete circle. Turning 5 circles in the coarse direction produced an extra-coarse grind. That took about 1min 40sec for 10.5 grams. Grinder doesn't stop immediately after bean chamber empties. Fair amount of variable delay from timed shut-off?.Unit has no markings for grind coarseness and no way to repeat settings except by counting circles and clicks. An issue if you use multiple ways of making coffee. If you need two grinds, annoying; three or more, an headache. Vendor warns that turning too far (unspecified direction) could disassemble the grinding assembly. An exploded diagram shows order for reassembly (see photo B). Presumably, that disassembly could allow the occasional thorough cleaning. My previous burr grinder cost about $150, was corded (which I prefer), a lot faster, produced a more consistent grind, and had a numbered dial for coarseness. The latter made it easy to repeat settings or to make fine adjustments to account for the type of bean. Still, this is better than a bladed grinder.Amazing how cheap burr grinders have gotten. But, the trade-off is slower speed, a bit more noise, lower capacity, and a bit less consistency.EDIT 4/15/2023: Vendor recommends using this only for coffee or spices - not both. Over time, you won't be able to clean out the residue, leaving you with spicy coffee and coffee-flavored spices. That potential for disassembly/reassembly may help. But, didn't try.

Slow, but effective
My wife and I each drink at least two cups of coffee each day. Until recently, we have purchased ground coffee at our local box store--not exactly gourmet coffee drinkers. Then last fall we took a trip to Hawaii and visited a coffee farm in Kona. Oh boy, we got an education in proper coffee preparation. So, now we have started grinding our own beans and, of course, our coffee is much, much better tasting. Again, though, we didn't pay much attention to the grinder we were using. We used the spinning blade grider that we have had for years. What could be wrong with that? Well, once again, there's a "right" way to grind your coffee as well. The burr grinder is said to produce a more consistent grind size and avoids heat damage. OK, so we got this portable electric burr grinder and we've been trying it for a few days and here's what I've found so far:The Hexiniu portable electric burr grinder is a sleek looking unit with rounded edges and one-button controls. It will grind just enough beans for a whole pot of coffee. You can fill the inner grind chamber to the top with beans and that's what you need for a 12-14 cup pot. Easy. There's a grind-setting knob at the bottom of the powered unit, from fine to coarse. We find that a couple of clicks above finely ground seems about right and comparable to the commercially ground coffee we had been buying.Grind time is slow. You push the single button and the grinder runs until the bean hopper is empty and then shuts off automatically, which is a nice feature. You can turn it on and forget it for a while. When the battery is fully charged, the grind time was about 5.5 minutes, but subsequent batches of beans took 7 minutes or more. That's slow compared to any other grinder I've experienced. My son has a name-brand, expensive burr grinder and it takes about 45 seconds to grind. So there's that.If you are impatient for coffee in the morning, you may want to grind and set up your pot at night. That may diminish the freshness of the coffee slightly, but will you really notice? Probably not. I sure wouldn't.Update: The page for this grinder states that it operates "without any noise". That's not true--it actually produces significant noise, like every grinder I've ever heard. So again, if you care about noise in the morning, you may want to prep your coffee at night.

Works great for us
We've been grinding out coffee for about a year, so we aren't pros yet. We started with a manual grinder then decided to try this electric grinder out. It definitely make things easier, but is a little loud first thing in the morning. We really like that we can just turn it on and do other things while it grinds making our morning routine a little easier. Another big plus is that it is rechargeable and we don't have to worry about changing batteries.

Takes forever to grind and then dies
We timed it and to grind the maximum amount at a medium grind took seven minutes! We only used this two or three times before it fully stopped working. I also have to say that I didn’t think the coffee tasted any better than the non-burr grinder we have. Don’t bother.

This is so simple and easy to use, Just with one button u can grind your coffee and it does a great job at getting it powder like. Really good if you dont have a large coffee machine that doesnt do this for you.
