Would the headset and waistband fit an 8 year old? I'm worried they might be too big, even though they are adjustable.

You can use the USB charging cable to plug into a charging head, or you can plug the other end of the charging cable into an outlet with a USB port.

You have to wear it in the front, and not be near any other mic, or any other amplifier to not get interference. That is what I do and I don't have any problems.

How sensitive is the mic? Does it need to be angled specifically?

The mic is sensitive if you near other mics, make sure that you are in a place where the mic won't make sqeeling noise.
