EcoPress™ Duo Max Aluminium Coffee Capsule Recycling Tool - Compatible with Nespresso Capsules & Coffee Grounds

Really clever design. Can place your used capsules in the large bin and when you're ready you can empty the coffee grinds into the other bin two at a time. The lid of the large bin has a drain in it so after emptying the coffee grinds you can rinse the empty pods. Doesn't take up too much space and really handy to have somewhere to put the used pods close to the coffee maker. I just rinse all parts in cold water so nice and easy to clean.

Really easy to use, well thought through product that makes recycling pods so easy. I use a mix of different brands so it would be a faff to send them all back to different manufacturers in bags - this saves the postage and it's pretty theraputic squashing the pods too...

If you've been emptying your used Alu pods with a knife/spoon or whatever, this saves a huge amount of time, and is quite a bit neater too. It's much more efficient than sending full pods off to be emptied and recycled somewhere, probably in another country. The coffee grounds seem to get a bit harder if left too long, so I now do this on a weekly basis, rather than when the tub gets too full. If the pods are dented or twisted they can occasionally pop through the hole unless you take a little extra care. Now that I'm aware of that, it hasn't happened since.

If you have any worries about the impact of one pod per cup going into landfill. This is great to separate the coffee (which can go on the garden or compost), and aluminium pods which go into recycling. It works very well, looks tidy on the worktop.

First this works wonderfully with almost any aluminum pods, BUT some pods have extra corrugations on the narrow ends and rip apart using this. I suspect that's because the pods with the corrugations use a thinner more brittle alloy to save costs but it makes them shred into pieces. For all other pods it is wonderful. Given how many hundreds I go through every year I wish I had bought this years ago. Our local council do not collect pods but they do recycle the aluminum this extracts from them. VERY well built out of recycled plastic, will last a lifetime.

Works really well, easy to use and effective. Empty pod is then simply rinsed in some water before being placed into our recycling. No need to order a pod recycling service or take to the local recycling centre anymore. Spent coffee is just added to the soil in in the garden. Great tool, easy to use.

Can be a bit messy but very good way of recycling the pods and putting the coffee grounds in the compost bin.

I read the reviews before purchasing but found some of them unbelievable. Having purchased, I tried placing a couple of capsules in as I though would be to instinctive way - down into the holes - and it is then, as the critical reviews say, virtually impossible to press the top piece down, When, however, I laced the capsules properly, to turn them inside out, it’s very easy to complete the action, a quick rinse to remove a few left grains and the aluminium can go straight into recycling. Coffee grounds into bin, compost, wherever wanted. I like it a lot.

simple low tech works great! Peets has paused their recycle programs so this is the fix! Works best if pods are dried. Usuallt do a weeks worth and it only takes minutes

I initially bought the double option to save time but it turns out that I am too weak to press down two pods at once. So i returned it and got the single one which worked better for me. The only downside is that it got filled up pretty quickly. Otherwise I highly recommend it. This will save me 1) trip to UPS 2) using plastic nespresso recycling bag etc. Now I just need to separate the aluminum for recycling. We in US need to do better to care for our environment! Kudos for making this environmentally friendly invention.

It works great. I feel so much better using the capsule recycling tool. The fact that I can press two at a time works great for me since I normally use two pods at a time.

This recycling tool works incredibly well. From storing used capsules to pressing out used grounds and rinsing remaining aluminum capsules, Dualit has created an easy to use and effective product for handling coffee capsules. We use the grounds in our compost for our garden beds and the empty and clean aluminum capsules go back to Nespresso via the mail in return program.
