Hope not hard like baby born?** A: It's made of a plastic which has some bend and the joints move but it's not soft like dolls with fabric middles. This doll is no exception to all the other Berenguers. Realistic and first class. These dolls are easily mistaken as real babies and the plus is that they are anatomically correct. I bought both the boy and girl doll. Why the boy doll was more expensive than the girl I don’t know but I find that is the case from any doll manufacturer not just Berenguer. The vinyl feels soft like baby skin.
