one problem was instructions leaflet did not match the actual watch but with a bit of application everything worked and watch is excellent. However what if I was not technically minded, it could have been stressful.

The watch I ordered from Amazon had a different name on it, and mine arrived with the name ‘SMAEL’, but was essentially the same watch. As with all Chinese products the instructions are minimal. I managed to follow the instructions and set up everything, but I have no idea what the little graphical squares are, which change shape every second. I also do not know what the button that is in the position of the wind-up button. This button is NOT mentioned in the instructions. All-in-all I’m happy with watch, but May re-appraise it in a months time. It does have a quality strap though. Just one thing, it was advertised as being waterproof to fifty metres, and on the back of the watch it does say 5 ATM, which I believe is 50 metres.

Watch face was very dark and numbers very light - almost illegible. Tried to brighten but it wouldn’t work. Have returned. Had to be returned to China and this cost more than £11. No idea when I may expect a refund for watch. Very unsatisfactory

The actual watch is a dull and very dim result. Even with the light function is still very dim and dark hard to see in the night and in the day.. Would recommend they show a better description of this product.. Hope this helps ...

Considering the price point, the quality is excellent. I had a Suunto a few years back and had to return it because it just gobbled up a battery every few days. I didn’t really need the extra functions that piece provided but I did want the general look and size and this works perfectly. I stuck to the black again although I may add their other 3(?) colors at some point, given the price. (I thought I saw a yellow in another review but I don’t see that offered right now. Would be sweet). Anyway, couldn’t be happier. It’s big but lightweight and the strap fits well and is so comfortable you forget you’re wearing it. Set up is easy when using the little instruction booklet. Has a date display and a brightness button to illuminate the time when dark. As with all watches, use the lume sparingly to extend battery life. I don’t get my watches close to water beyond the occasional splash when washing hands etc so I can’t speak to water resistance because it’s not high on my list. I have maybe a dozen watches of various expensive and budget brands for all occasions and suddenly this is on my wrist more than the rest. How did that happen? Had a question for the seller which they responded to quickly and fully so this isn’t some no name brand where nobody is home once you get your watch delivered. Recommended. I got it as a birthday gift for my 13 year old brother, he loves the sporty look and the dial. I was afraid that the dial may be too large for a teenager but it fits and looks great. For the price, the watch is fantastic. It serves the purpose of telling time and setting a timer perfectly. My only complaint is that the numbers could be a little easier to read if the backlit screen wasn’t so dim. You will eventually adjust to the dull screen but it would have been nicer to have a brighter screen. Update: The metal watch clasp randomly broke and I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a brand new watch within 2 days time. Amazing customer service! Would definitely purchase again!!
