Bar 2.0 All-in-one (MK2): Compact 2.0 Channel soundbar, Black

I recently purchased the JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One (MK2) for my small living room, and it has exceeded my expectations! Here's why I think it's a great buy: It’s sleek and fits perfectly under my TV without taking up too much space. The black finish blends seamlessly with my setup. For a 2.0 channel soundbar, it delivers crisp and balanced audio. Dialogue in movies is clear, and it’s great for casual music streaming too. Setup was a breeze with the HDMI ARC connection. The remote is straightforward, and switching between modes is hassle-free. While the sound quality is good, it doesn’t have the deep bass you’d get from a soundbar with a dedicated subwoofer. It’s still fine for smaller spaces but might not be enough for bass-heavy music or action-packed movies.

Don't mistake this for surround sound on your home. I you have a small apartment or bedroom, it's small and does enhance the sound, I have the JBL and the Bose version and they are similar although I lean towards the Bose bc of sound quality. Overall a good buy BUT not for a big room that is not a substitute for a big Sonos system but the lower price reflects that.

Great sound and price, JBL is still good!

Very underwhelming for the price. The base is bad and its pretty muddy sounding. The portable JBL speakers sound much better for the same price. I don't get it.

These Optical Audio Cables look to be a premium quality product and so far have performed well in my entertainment system. The cable is relatively thick compared to other cables I have used, but it is remarkably flexible despite how thick it is.

We originally had a 6 year old Bose sound bar along with our 2018 TV. We recently upgraded our TV and the bose speaker was too old to keep up. We decided this JBL would work for our needs and considering we own JBL speakers and enjoy them. But this was a complete joke of a sound bar. 1) There was no way to adjust bass. It sounded like glorified built in TV speakers. Terrible. 2) THE BIGGEST ISSUE is the fluctuating volume! To the point I had to keep the remote in my hand when watching a movie or show to turn it up and down. I'm not even exaggerating, it would be every 3-5 minutes adjusting the volume. We could not believe just how bad this speaker is for the price tag. The amount of good reviews it has leads me to believe maybe ours was a bad build? Either way we returned and bought what we should have went with all along, a new Bose sound bar. Had absolutely no issues with this one so it wasn't the TV or connectivity.

We have an outside TV in a weatherproof case. It's the perfect activity center point while grilling, swinging or just gathering on the deck. But, sound was iffy at best. This JBL soundboard delivered the perfect solution. It attached to the existing hardware already in place within the case, making it weatherproof and easily maintained. And.. the sound is phenomenal! Easily controlled via remote, the digital connection was self explanatory, quick and simple. The volume level and the clarity is fantastic and enhanced our overall experience to another level. If you need better sound quality, clearer sound and versatility, I highly recommend.

Works well with HDMI ARC. Replicates sound well if there is a lot of base in the music you hear it , there are no treble or bass so you cannot artificially add bass
