I used this to isolate a propane leak on my RV. I loaned it to my in law to sniff out a gas leak on his furnace. It worked great on both. Problem solved easily. It's loud enough and has the lights that increase as the leak gets closer. Easy to use and well worth the cost.

I bought this to help check for gas leaking when we installed a new gas water heater in our house. It's one of those tools that you may not use all the time but it's great to have around just in case. The warning sounds are loud enough to hear easily. The battery lasts. It's a great tool to have around just for the sake of safety. Being able to detect a leak just in case. It is simple to use and works great. We are pleased with the purchase for sure.

Works great. We calibrated in seconds with the gas cooktop to be sure it would works. No gas leak detected at the dryer. Very easy to use and calibrate. The noise level when it detects gas is noticeable but not bothersome. Slim design makes it easy to put in a pocket.

Works good. Tested on my stove to make sure it was functioning as it should. Then went around to HVAC and water heater. No leaks detected. Easy to understand and use. Came with batteries.

This little detector is awesome! It even detects refrigerant. I spent $200-300 on a refrigerant leak detector and this one works just as good for far less!

Does this work as a Lie Detector? I wondered if this works when someone on your team passes gas... Nah, mate, that can't be. Yah, mate, it's natural gas. Nah, mate, it's methane. Yah, mate, same thing. .... one of the mates passed gas just then, but who? 🌪 Wasn't me, mate, they all say...🤡 The detector was still on... so... 🤣 Let's check everyone..🤔 One of the mates lied... leak found.🚭 Works best on slooww leaks that you hold it so gases get into detection chamber. So does work on leaky valves and pipes if you understand how it works.

This is a good choice for maintenance personnel. Its small, lightweight, and easy to carry in your pocket, which makes it very convenient for quick inspections. It works well for detecting gas leaks and is practical tool to have on hand for everyday maintenance tasks.

I think this item quite literally saved the lives of my family. I smelt gas and no one believed me. The boiler was recently serviced, within the last month. This device alarmed in the exact location I could smell gas. So then we had the national gas emergency team out and they initially didn't believe me either but thanks to this device I held my ground saying it had alarmed exactly where I smelt gas and they waited longer, finally detecting it very strongly and sealed off our gas. We then had the local heating engineers out to see what was wrong and they initially said there's nothing wrong with this boiler, no gas leak and told me CO is odourless. I explained it was this natural gas alarm that was picking up the gas and that the previous engineer had to wait to detect it once the boiler was on. This engineer then discovered that we had a faulty gas safety valve and highly flammable gas filling our enclosed boiler room. The heating engineer said we were extremely lucky I detected it and that this could have ended very differently. I thank this tiny device. Quite literally the best purchase I have ever made as my two very young children sleep in the room beneath the boiler.
