Great value resin
I've bought this 3 times now, it's good resin and sets enough overnight to pop out of moulds but do leave it for 48 hours if you want it fully hardened first (I'm too impatient!). Nice and thick so fine glitters and mica powder is distributed evenly, I just use a toothpick to push the resin into the corners of moulds to avoid bubbles.Only reason for 4 stars is unfortunately the last pack I bought seemed like a bad batch/unsealed/temperature affected as one part was gloopy and cloudy so I had to use a stick to give it a stir and then scrape it off into a pot to mix as it wouldn't pour, it still however dried clear and the resin turned out fine, was just hard to work with and took longer to set. Will probably keep buying though as the price is the best value I've found.Go make yourself some pretties!!

Good Resin Mix For jewellery
Good size and really easy 1:1 mix. I do find that I don't get a very long working time with it though and it thickens up a little faster than others I've used, so it's probably better to mix in smaller batches or for use when you're doing larger pieces rather than messing around with lots of different colours and using lots of different small fiddly moulds like I do.It states it hardens in 24 hours but, mixed with mica powder and glitter, I find it takes a bit longer, more like a day and a half to be fully hard and cured, but you can still demold without an issue after about 12 hours.I've created several batches of jewellery now and have consistently found bubble gaps at the edges of work, I'd estimate that 10%-20% of my makes have edge bubble gaps and is a probelm I'm encountering more consistently, than with other resin mixes I've used. So for jewellery, I'd say it's good, and is certainly decent value for money, but it's not the best.

For a total newbie this was surprisingly easy
This is my first time using resin. I needed to coat 4 paintings of various sizes. The instructions are very easy to understand, and the resin pours fine. It's easy to spread with a lolly stick, and there was no smell even though the window and door were closed. It started drying very quickly and now I'm just waiting 24 hours before I inspect the result. So far so good. Now for the problems:1. The bottle was very hard to open! Once I'd unscrewed the top off, I had to tackle a plastic seal which just didnt want to come off. Took me a good 20 min to pry it off.2. The amount of hardener is NOT the same as the amount of resin, even though it should be. I needed 15 oz for a painting, which means 7.5 oz of each product, but I got 7.5 oz of resin and only 6.8 oz of hardener. I proceeded with coating it anyway as I wasnt going to waste all that product. Hopefully it will all be fine.3. For some strange reason, the resin wouldnt coat certain areas of the painting, even though I encouraged it over those areas with the lolly stick. Lucky for me, I had another painting to do, so after I'd poured most of the resin over the second painting, I dripped a couple of drops over the first painting's bald spots, and managed to cover them seamlessly (even though that painting had been coated a good 30 min ago). So perhaps its good to have a few projects lined up before you get started. The quantity I ordered (540 ml) doesnt go a long way at all. I only managed to coat one 11x14 painting, and one 15x15 painting. Just something to keep in mind.I will update this review once the paintings have cured fully. But so far, I'm happy with this product and would use it again and would recommend it too.PS. If you want to learn how to coat paintings in resin, watch Teagan Walker's tutorial on YouTube.

Quick disclaimer, I have bought DecorRom Epoxy Resin before and have not had this problem before. Ok, so these 4 photographs are of 2 separate bottles I bought in the the space of past month. The first was from the starter kit. When it arrived Part A was already crystallising and I had to use it up asap, or it would have been wasted. I thought that maybe the starter kit doesn't get bought often, so maybe it was just a fluke. The second was a standard epoxy resin kit with no extra inks and stuff. It's not a first time I bought just the resin bottles, but it is first time it arrived partially crystallised. As you can see in the photographs it stuck to the side wall of the bottle and the thicker more crystallised 'sludge' was gathering at the bottom. Yes, heating it up on a heat mat while mixing does help, but it also means that the resin is emmiting more fumes, which you don't really want to do, even when wearing PPE (which I hope people do!). I don't know if this is a weather fault, as it is getting warmer, or storage, or the bottle design fault, but something is affecting the Part A of the resin to make it crystallised.Otherwise I have used these products for over a year now and this is a first time I am seeing this issue. I have seen some reviews mentioning it, but more often than not people didn't seem to have issues with it. The product cures well and is very clear when mixed properly, it works well with inks and pigments if you don't over do it and mess up the epoxy to liquid ratio, which I have done (lesson learned). I would have given this a full star review, but the recent few orders bring the rating a little down. I will probably try again, just to see if it is indeed a fluke, which honestly I hope so, I like working with this resin...
