Piece of mind
I purchase an expensive item and saw there was an option for asurion which from having to deal with them before was a no brained to protect my purchase. Fast forward a year later my expensive purchase was not working so I file a claim. It was smooth and easy process as they try to see if it can be repair when repair wasn’t an option they mail out a check for the entirety of the purchase. I recommend this for any expensive item just for a piece of mine if anything happens.

Quick and easy service
I had a product that failed on start up. I really wanted to repair it because it is a very necessary item. I was able to ship it to an authorized service center for free. It only took 24 hours for them to inspect it and report that the item could not be repaired. Asurion processed a full refund for the item immediately afterwards. They were very communicative in letting me know where the claim was in its processing stages and I received a refund very quickly. I highly recommend Asurion for product protection.

Not the best Value
This insurance policy is four three years and start from the date of the purchase. Now the product warranty is for a year so it actually is only a two year policy.

The water boiler is not working.
The water can't be heated.

Fast, helpful response
We purchased a projector that began to fail only months after purchase. They opened a ticket for repair and sent us a prepaid shipping label on the same day of our request for assistance. We were notified with a couple days that the product couldn't be repaired and we would be issued a complete refund. We were very pleased with the timely response and solution.

Very easy process.
I called regarding a printer that had gone defective after a couple of years. It was still under the Asurion Protection Policy and took only about 5 minutes to process a claim. Asurion refunded the cost of the printer as a credit so that I could purchase a new one, which I did...and added a new Asurion policy!
