Mueller Professional Chef Knife, 8" Sharp Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife with Ergonomic Handle, Chopping Knife for Meat, Vegetables

This cleaver will be ok if you don't buy it expecting a Hatori Hanzo blade. However I believe some of the complaints about sharpness are a bit unfounded. My husband has been beating on the one he uses at work for weeks now. No rust, no dents, no nicks, and the blade doesn't look like you were trying to beat on a steel pole. This is a huge sharp piece of metal for a cheap price. It has a decent handle that allows you to index the edge with confidence. We even bought a second one for use in the home. You don't have to put much work in with the heft of this animal either. If you're looking for a knife that will cleave bone on a regular, this might not be for you Mr. Bateman. But as a solid duty light to medium duty, we're definitely getting our money's worth.

Multiple Mueller Home products:I first purchased the vegetable chopper and am very happy with it and use it regularly. The chopper arrived with an offer for the Cleaver. The Cleaver is an excellent knife that I also use often. These two products made Mueller Home my favorite brand for kitchen items. When I saw that the Chef's knife was on sale for Prime Day, I was happy to purchase one - also an excellent knife, cuts through produce with the lightest touch. On the Chef's knife packaging there was an offer and QR code for the Julienne Peeler. Looking forward to trying out the peeler!

I used this cleaver the first day I received it to chop some beef and I was one and done!! Clean sharp cuts, I’m definitely ordering another one!

My daughter said the knife is very sharp and easy to use. She needed something to handle big jobs like cutting up watermelon.

The product arrived pristine and within the promised date. The blade was very sharp out of the box (easily slices through paper). It's a bit on the heavy side but this my first cleaver so maybe I just need to get used to it. It functions well and it's aesthetically very nice but I feel it should come with some type of sheath/cover to protect the blade in storage. I used it on vegetables and cooked beef (no bones) and after hand washing, there were a few small stubborn spots that don't seem to wash off...hmm.

I dislike nothing about the product. Was as advertisedWell balanced and I used it on veggies. Can’t wait to use it again. I received a free offer for potato peeler but somehow there were confusion linking me to my Amazon account. After about five attempts I got upset and through the offer away. Would have been incredible to receive it without taking so much of my time.
