As is, the box is great for weatherproofing extension cords. It has a rubber gasket that seals the lid when it is closed. It also has a rubber gasket to seal each cord.Every now and then the power service cable on my RV isn't long enough so an extension cord is needed. To protect the connection I would just run it through a heavy duty garbage bag and then secure it with tape. However, I was looking for a more robust and reusable solution. That's when I thought of trying this.The problem is that the holes are 1/2" sized to fit standard extension cords. However, a 30 Amp RV cord is 3/4" and a 50 Amp RV cord is slightly bigger. To make it fit I used my rotary tool to round out the two holes furthest apart from one another. I had to also trim some of the rubber gasket that seals the cords. Now everything fits fine.

Box is sturdy and waterproof. It co twins many ways to configure cords. I used mine for a 30 amp RV cord extension to protect the connection. Worth the money.

It's nice but extremely difficult to get the cords thru the slots. Also, the velcro is not waterproof & will not stick after rain so be prepared for plan b to mount it. I specifically didn't want to put screws into where it needed to go but the velcro is not good.

There’s literally nothing I dislike about this. We have a few items in our backyard that run either on extension cords or need power from the outlet off the deck. I ended up purchasing an outdoor rated surge protector and placing that inside this box. I can plug-in all the necessary electronics that we have outside off the deck and in the backyard, and never worry about the water from rain or snow getting in to the electronics. I have a few of these boxes that I will use during the holidays when we have our Christmas lights out front. I really like the ability to add Amazon smart plugs inside these boxes so that I can tell Alexa to turn on certain lights. Everything fits nicely and is protected from the elements so that I don’t have to go reset my GFCI breaker when we have inclement weather.

This is the second one of these I bought. They are the perfect solution for keeping connections dry. Easy to mount and completely weatherproof. There's room enough inside for a small power strip, making it easy to connect several cords. I put a smart plug inside one of them to control outdoor lights. Can't be beat, especially for the price.
