Yak Attack BlackPak

Good product lots of room but i about went crazy following the old instructions. This box is a newer model. The feet do not "snap" on. And the youtube video is for the older model as well.

These works exactly as intended and is ease to rummage through when out on the water. The only thing this does not have is straps for the rod holders.

While not as cost friendly as a milk crate and rod holders, the BlackPak is a great solution for keeping gear and some extra rods on your kayak while looking good. You can fit Bass Mafia Bait Coffins in the Blackpak, but they are difficult to get out and you will have to throw a couple of regular 3700 boxes on the ends -- which I use for specialty storage for certain lures so that works for me.The assembly is not too difficult. All you have to do is look at the instructions and look at what you're doing. I started to assemble it with the bottom upside down, I quickly caught it and was able to adjust rather quickly.

I really like this crate. My only complaint is that 3700 size boxes are just a tiny bit too wide to fit easily. Sure, you can set them in at an angle, but not straight in and out. So, looks like I need to convert over to the 3600 size boxes.

Yak Attack makes great products but the price is ugly. Seems like if you use it on a Kayak you pay three times what would seem reasonable. Case in point is this glorified milk crate. It looks so much nicer than a milk crate but no increase in functionality. Appears to me made out of same material as a cutting board but thinner. I do like it but $129? Really?! Remember, pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. Product is well make and takes about 20 minutes to put together.

Great crate for organized anglers ! Keeps your rods in place and has very good space for tackle boxes.I added three more rod holders as I needed for more rods and my leverage fish net .Also very convenient are the four side hook attachment where you can hook your bungee cord !Great product thought for avid anglers !!

The assembly is easy but you cant completely follow the instructions exactly. I tried and had it shifting and the tabs falling out. I had to secure some of the tabs about 1 to 2 steps before I was supposed to but it helped with the assembly. Love it, works well on my kayak.

The BlackPack is great for any kayak.. I installed it on my Bonafide kayak and works great !!
