This supplier is the best I've ever dealt with. I had a query when the pole arrived. My message was responded to within a couple of hours and the issue very quickly resolved by Damian who couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. The pole works very well on my high solar panel Velux window which stopped working. It has also proved really useful in bending down hard to reach rose branches!Extremely happy.

The pole was a good length and not heavy. It is robust in design and fits the Velux blind perfectly allowing me to open and close the blind easily.

I bought this to replace a Velux window pole, mainly on the strength of the reviews on Amazon.the pole arrived very quickly which was great - full marks to the manufacturer.the pole is extendable with a screw mechanism similar to that used with extendable mop/brush handles.the pole is for use in a physiotherapy clinic where we have high ceilings and velux windows. On the first day of use one of my team managed to jam one section of the pole such that my husband had to use strong equipment from his workshop to unjam this. it was impossible to unlock by hand - I have strong hands!the pole length is good and easily reaches the high windows but is flimsy compared to the velux window pole and bends with any effort on opening or closing the windows. I'm not sure how long this will last, time will tell. The pole is lightweight and easy to manoevre.the hook on the end of the pole is good strong plastic and screws into the pole. I hope this means that a replacement of the hook alone can be bought if this fails.my ideal combination would be for the hook from this pole onto the velux pole.I also bought the smaller length pole for another set of windows at a different location. The pole was much better and the height was adjusted with a latch and holes, a similar mechanism to that used with adjustable sticks or crutches.If this mechanism was used for the longer length that would feel more secure.UPDATE AUGUST 2019The pole was working well untill recently when the extending and twisting mechanism is now failing to hold. This is crucial to us as the windows are high. I will contact the seller direct and see what they suggest.

We have quite high, small velux skylights in a roof with 45 degrees. The pole is very light and quite easy to use, as long as you follow the instructions, the angle you hold the pole at to attach the hooky end being critical. Getting the thing off the velux open/close bar is awkward unless you maintain the correct angle. Once you get used to it, its very easy to use. Its been great being able to open and close our velux's without having to get a ladder. Good value for money. You can also use it fully extended to surprise your partner when they are not looking.

Works well , but a bit expensive for a pole

Very lightweight but strong, clearly very well made. Amazon had damaged a small part in the warehouse but the supplier despatched a replacement part which came the next day. Fantastic UK based support. Very impressive.

The plastic grip inside the hook has started to come off. Not great quality for the price.

I’ve had Velux windows in our conservatory for over ten years and opening them is so difficult without this fabulous pole. I cannot believe I didn’t buy this earlier but I’m so glad it’s here now. Easy to assemble and simple to use, love it
