Great little coffeemaker
This coffeemaker replaced a twelve cup that we only ever used for 4 cups so this is perfect. Takes up less space on the counter. Only thing I would say is the base, which is heated, gets dirty easily with drips of coffee and it discolored very quickly and I wasn't able to clean it very well. However, it still heats and is working fine. That is why 3 stars for easy to clean.

Super small and works great ……But wait…..
Pros- after using a couple of times- This is just the size I wanted because I’m the only coffee drinker here. It’s super easy to use and it’s super easy to clean. It’s working perfectly for me. I love the reusable filter that comes with it! That was one reason I tried this brand. It isn’t as noisy as my Mr. Coffee that I had before this one. It takes up very little counter space!! Cons: After using this for quite a short time every day- this coffee maker proves to be of no good to me. The arm that swings out to put the filter in gets flimsy and rickety. It’s not made as well as I thought. Also the coffee maker doesn’t close all of the way now. I used this every morning since the day I got it. It hasn’t lasted. My Mr Coffee lasted for years. I of course threw the box away and can’t return it now. So I learned my lesson. I’ll go with what I know instead of venturing out on an unknown brand.

The perfect little mini coffee maker!
I like my coffee strong! I grind the beans very finely, the way I learned when I lived in Europe and made drip coffee. I've tried and tried to find a small coffee maker that makes really good coffee, but never succeeded until now in finding one as good as the more time-consuming pour-over, cone coffee system. The only problem I have is that with such finely-ground coffee and using an extra scoop of coffee grounds, the cone fills up and makes it difficult to insert into the holder when I make 4 or 5 cups (I figured out how to tilt it to make it work!). The lid can be lifted up, and I can watch the water drip down onto the grounds, which is amusing! I’m having fun with this coffee maker that does everything but grind the coffee beans! It keeps the coffee perfectly warm.

Makes good coffee, but feels cheap. No auto shutoff.
I bought this because I only make 3 "cups" at a time, or about half of the small coffee pot. The industry standard 6 oz coffee "cup", not the mugs that most of us use in the real world. I like the #2 cone filters for making small amounts of coffee. I think they work better than the basket type filters for that purpose. That's what this maker uses. I haven't used the permanent filter, so can't comment on that. It makes pretty good coffee. I do need to use a flashlight to see the "3 cup" embossed marking deep in the black molded plastic reservoir when filling with water. It's pretty flimsy, but haven't broken anything yet. It **needs** an auto shutoff. It does not have one. It will happily burn your coffee all day if you forget about it. The burner plate turns into a mess pretty fast. But yes, it does make good coffee.

this little baby works!
I have been putting up with poor quality coffee makers for 6+ yrs: I’ve thrown out a Cuisinart, Krups mini, Hamilton Beach & 2 DeLonghi models, either the heating elements failed or there was so much sludge in the pot that I wouldn’t drink the 2nd cup. This little coffee maker is fast, easy & makes a great cup without any debris. It’s small enough to put in a carrying case & take on my vacation and, so far, I’m really happy with everything about it. May it hold up for a long time because my 2nd cup this morning was as good as the first❤️

Coffee's good...Features? Not so much!
This coffeemaker was purchased to replace another low priced one. With coffeemakers in the $10-$25 range, you pretty much get what you pay for. The coffee's good enough (this usually depends more on the brand of coffee, as well as the ratio of coffee to water than it does on the coffeemaker). A few minor issues that detract from the quality: 1) the ceramic hotplate stains easily (to date I haven't been able to get these stains off); 2) the fill tube (water window) is not convenient for right handed people. In order to watch the water line go up and eventually reach the desired level, you have to fill with your left hand. This is probably why some of the better coffeemakers have fill tubes on both sides; 3) some of the instructions do not apply to this particular model. In the instruction booklet (really just several sheets of paper stapled together), instruction #10 in the “Brewing Coffee” section says: “When the brewing cycle is complete, the indicator light will shut off and the unit will not (sic) longer heat. The blurb online for this model says it has a ceramic hotplate and will stay hot which, fortunately, it does. There are one or two other examples. If you can live with these issues, this coffeemaker does as good a job at brewing coffee as most any other one in its price range.

I also use it for tea
I was reluctant to toss my old, very old, coffee pot. It still worked, just took quite some time to process one pot of water. So I bought this one- and used it once, was shocked how quickly it processed the coffee, and I instantly threw the old one away. I also put water through it and just leave a bag of tea in the pot while the water is coming through, let that sit for a few minutes to brew the tea, and it works great. Easy to clean. The only drawback is that it does not have automatic shutoff. But I think I knew that when I purchased it.

poorly engineered
Old OLD 5-cup maker on/off switch shorted out. Replacement with same brand / model not available for weeks. NEEDED COFFEE. This seemed a reasonable choice. Even had extra feature the old one didn't, drip stop to remove pot to get coffee before brew cycle is complete. So, what's wrong with it? - Drip stop ALWAYS drips a puddle of coffee onto hot plate. Doesn't matter whether pot pulled out while brewing or WELL AFTER brewing complete. Seems as if it must catch some coffee and it stays in the drip stop waiting for pot to be pulled out so it can spill onto plate. - Pot spout ALWAYS drips coffee while pouring. The spout is very narrow and shallow and has a deep curve back toward the body of the pot. No matter how slowly I start the pour surface tension ALWAYS pulls coffee back to the side of the pot at beginning of pour and then it drips down the pot and stains/wets anything the pot is set down on. Pouring quickly to beat the surface tension doesn't work because the spout is too narrow and shallow. Pouring quickly just causes coffee to contact the lid and go all over the place. - Narrow reservoir fill area and apparatus in fill area makes for splashing water on counter if not slow and careful filling reservoir. Viewed from top the coffee maker is basically two different size circles connected by two lines that are tangent to each circle. The circle over the coffee pot is the larger one. The circle over the reservoir is the smaller one. The coffee maker narrows at the reservoir where it needs to be filled and has stuff obstructing the fill area. Used it for a while, about a week now, to be sure I wasn't unhappy just because is "different" than my old one. That's not it. Didn't have these problems with old one. And, even though old one didn't have drip stop, was enough room to slide out pot and slide in cup to catch brewing coffee and then fill cup with coffee already in pot then slide cup out and pot back in without getting coffee all over hot plate. Replacing this coffee maker. :-(

Highly Recommend for the Office
I bought the 5 Cup coffee maker for my office and it makes the perfect amount to fill my YETI Rambler. This is easy to use and is a decent quality for the price. The box it came in says it's a 6 cup machine, but it's not - it is 5 cups as is advertised. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for something simple for your office in order to obtain your coffee fix!

Glass Carafe broke! Cheap coffee maker with cheaper quality.
You get what you pay for. The build quality of this coffee maker feels cheap. Although I wasn't surprised with the quality given the price point. The body is plastic and the carafe is glass. Be very careful or you'll break something. The carafe leaks while pouring out coffee. The spout design is worse as it leaks everytime. The lid of the maker body also drips water down on the floor when lifted all the way up. Edit: Despite careful use, the glass carafe broke within 10 months. There's no replacement carafe you can buy.
