Great taste!
These are great pralines! They have that super sweet flavor of Charleston pralines!! I was a little hesitant ordering online but I needed some for gifts and my local sources didn't have any Charleston pralines. I will order again!

These are the real deal
I am accustomed to pralines being lighter in color than these, but these have the authentic and delicious flavor and texture of real, true southern pralines. They are not for anyone trying to cut out sugar, but they are truly delicious, creamy, lovely. They're individually wrapped in their own little pouches. I have ordered these a few times, and they have been fresh and delicious each and every time. I've ordered other brands before, and some can dry out and get all crumbly. These have always been fully intact and not broken at all.

sweet - maybe too sweet?
These were a little too sweet for my tooth. I would compare the consistency to that of a granular (sugar) fudge where not all of the sugar was properly melted. If my palate loses it's blue ribbon, sobeit, but I'd swear they use browned butter and boy am I glad they did! These are nicely sized pralines and even the heartiest of eaters will find it difficult to eat an entire one without feeling it was too much. I recommend sharing with someone else or prepare to eat in two sessions. (see picture 1) There are plenty of pecans in the mix and that nutty flavor, while not a more supporting role here, does get some time in the spotlight. Unfortunately, all the nuts were chopped with none of the candies having a full nut. It would perhaps make a nice garnish. Extra points if it's salted. (see picture 1) Salt! It's the one thing that I found missing. Packaging and shipping: Each candy is individually wrapped. The cello wrap is sealed with an attractive sticker that includes the date the candy was made and a recommended consumption "window". (see picture 2) Unfortunately, these were shipped in packaging that does not hold these individual packages in place. This results in breakage.
