Looks just like a real hammer, perfect updating my Halloween Jason Vorhees mask, by adding a bloody hammer sticking through it

Very convincing. I originally bought it from the seller's eBay outlet but they are now selling for cheaper on Amazon. It's good enough that when I first suggested my friend take it as part of his psycho costume for halloween, he said "I can't walk into a party holding a real hammer!" It wasn't until I showed him that it was bendable rubber that he believed it wasn't real. Since took it to a comic convention as part of a Hotline Miami costume where I got stopped 3 times throughout the day by security checking it wasn't real!Bottom line: If it wasn't for a few seams where it was moulded, it'd be close to movie prop quality.
