It's almost impossible to build it
Sorry, but it almost impossible to build it, as me, (adult) and my teenager tried hard..

Meh. Looks ok from a distance. Fairly easy to assemble. But close up it looks meh.
Note, this is NOT a puzzle. It's a model kit.Maybe I'm judging based on doing many wooden kits similar to this, which are more rigid and look a bit fancier. The styrofoam just doesn't look very good on the edges, and the odd way they built up the bottom bump-outs on the corners just doesn't look good, as there are three layers just sort of loosely held together, and all are sticking out at slightly different angles. The directions are entirely visual, other than the piece numbers, but work pretty well. The kit includes a little plastic tool to help pop the small tab holes out, which I did use, and it worked fine. And the finished product is stable enough.Overall, it's not bad, but I guess I just don't really like the styrofoam style for these, and would prefer the model to be balsa wood, which just looks and feels a little nicer. The description says "exquisite" but it's really pretty average looking....Key to ratings:***** - well above average - best I’ve seen**** - above average - very good quality*** - average - not bad, not great** - below average - I probably wish I got something different* - a waste of resources - I wish this had never been made

Puzzling
I had a harder time than expected with this. The instructions were not super clear but I am not sure if the problem is with me or the product. My 13 year old enjoyed helping me until we became stuck about halfway through finishing. We also did not use glue like the instructions recommended so there is that.....After ignoring the project for several weeks my wife threw it away in a cleaning frenzy. Now I will never know.

Wouldn't call it a puzzle
Took about 30 minutes to assemble while also watching tv, comes with picture instructions that are easy to figure out.Quality is ok, looks good assembled from a distance, but somewhat cheap close up.

White House Puzzle was Disappointing
I thought my 11 yr old grandson might have fun putting this together. Now I'm not so sure. To start with, The box says 3+ (probably a turn-off for an 11 yr old boy). While there are only 35 puzzle pieces, this is not a toddler puzzle. I cannot imagine any toddler would have the manual dexterity or interest in the White House. The listing does say 12 to 14 or adult many times. If he were studying American history, it might be something he could bring to class. But, at only 35 pieces, I don't think he would find it a fun challenge to put together. There are many tiny pieces to pop out using the included plastic tool. Most of the pop outs are places for the tabs used to hold the pieces together. With a base of 8" x 8.5", the challenge would be to get tabs, slots, and pieces together neatly. But, I could be wrong, If I am wrong, I'll update this review.

fun to assemble
It is fun to assemble but it is not the highest quality product there is, however for children I think it is great for them to build something like this. It makes for a nice model once it is assembled which can be a bit difficult to keep the parts together while fitting additional parts to it. Don't expect too much from this; it is a foam model with several pieces and it looks fine from a distance.

A model, not a puzzle
This is a nice little foam-based model with easy-to-follow visual instructions and well-labeled parts. The kit includes a tool to help you punch out the pieces from the holes the foam tabs fit into. The tabs and holes align well. For pieces that need to curve, the outer part of the foam is scored, letting the pieces bend as they should. Some of the numbers on the pieces are visible when the model is complete.

Fun
I wouldn't call this a puzzle... it's more like a styrofoam model. Well whatever you classify it, it's fun. My spouse and I enjoyed assembling the Sydney Opera House. The instructions were obviously translated but they were clear enough that we easily put the opera house together. The pieces are kind of cheap but it doesn't take away from the model its self. This is a fun little project to do, especially with children. It's small enough that it doesn't take up much space, but big enough to not be overwhelming in the assembly.
