I bought this as a stocking filler for my husband. He`s not the "male grooming" type but he has had a beard of varying lengths since his teens. As he nears the half century mark his beard is not quite as thick as it used to be. I read reviews on various beard oils and bought the Imperial Beard Oil based on this. He`s only used it a couple of times so far but when he does his beard looks thicker and not so wispy at the ends, it has a very pleasant but not overpowering fragrance and his beard seems to glisten without looking greasy or overdone. Only time will tell if it makes a long term difference. At present I would say this is a quality product, well packed, quickly dispatched and reasonably priced. Give it a try, it won`t burst the piggy bank and what have you got to lose!

First ever beard oil purchase. Medium-long thick beard (mostly medium).I bought this product in the hopes that it makes my beard soft and moisturised and from my experience, it only did one of those things really well. The prodct is very nicely packaged and gives you a premium feel. The bottle lid is well designed to give you oil in nice increments, putting you in the driving seat about how much you want to use which is nice. The fragrance at first is very over whelming, but like other reviews say, it does disappear quickly. At first it's a love it or hate it smell tho, personally I liked it. When applied, it doesn't leave your beard greasy or over the top shiny which was quite good to know.I felt that it did moisturize my beard and skin really well, it never itches or anything which is welcoming. However, unlike other product reviews, I didn't feel that it made my beard feel any softer to touch. I'd love to compare it to another product but I can't yet, so I won't.Overall I would recommend this but not if you too wanted a softer touch beard like I did :[

64 years old and fed up with looking at the same old fizzog year after year, so decided to grow some fluff. Heard of people using a beard oil in the past, so thought I would give it a try. Didn't want to smell like a tarts armpit, so went for something unscented.When this item arrived, I noticed (to my dismay) that in the ingredients there is "Parfum(Fragrance)". Having used the oil, I must admit that there is a slight scent, but it quickly wears off. Wasn't looking forward to being all oily and greasy, but that doesn't happen either. Must admit after all that, I like it. This product seems to make my whiskers feel fuller (more body), silkier, and is quickly absorbed, so no oily stains on the pillow (it does say to use morning and night).Never having used one of these products before, I'm impressed, and would certainly recommend this item to others.

So I was emailed after purchasing to write a review of this product.. given that you've emailed I assume the product has had time to work. I have a short to medium length beard and after applying this predicted as directed for over a week there is no improvement.. my beard is no different.. the only reason the product is getting 3 stars is because it smells nice. I would not buy again.. I know each beard is different but for me this has been a waste of money.

This product can be summed up in 2 words: PURE QUALITY. From the box it is housed in, to the bottle it contains, this item will fill the recipient with excited anticipation. IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.I can only describe the actual product as liquid silk, it really is that good.Any other product will struggle not to be inferior in comparison.To conclude, if you are looking for THE most luxerious treat for your beard; you have just found it.

It is pice of s*** don't waste your money on buying this product, I've been using it twice a day.And i didn't see any results.

Good thing first, the box is stylish. And it's oil. It's greasy though and the bottle is plastic not glass which is a shame. And the pump dispenser causes the oil to go all over your hands. A pipette would be much better. So, unimpressed and will not buy again.

Classy looking beard oil with a nice spicy subtle scent.You get plenty of oil for your money, a little goes a long way, and from the list of ingredients it looks like a lot of good quality oil is used in this product with no real filler oil like you see in some products.The oil is pretty thin compared to some I have used. It spreads easily in your hands for application to the beard and skin. The main reason why I have only given this 4 stars however is because I have found the oil stays on my beard for quite some time, meaning as I stroke my beard through the day I end up with oil on my hand. This is not an experience with many other products I have used and has put me off using this product at times.
