Wow, what a great little dovetail! It's a perfect fit to a 90 mm mounting ring I purchased for my ASI 2600MM camera, and it lets me use a Vixen to Losmandy D dovetail adapter from ADM (see picture.) Looks a little like a kludge, but it's more than solid enough for astrophotography. I've purchased a number of NEEWER products over the years, and all have been of the same as this: splendid quality for a low cost. It's beautifully built (no cosmetic flaws) and functions exactly as promised. Lots of attachment bolts and the tools to use them are included.

I got this to mount my Panasonic S5ii and 70-200mm lens to my motorized telescope mount. Works great. However mines was missing the 1/4 screw so I wasn't able to attach my cameraand lens to the rail. I had to borrow my buddies 1/4 screw while I wait for the correct screw to come in as the ones I have have on hand has a toilets ring and I was not able to get the screw tight enough to hold the heavy camera setup. Contact customer support via email and they were helpful. I just decided not to wait for replacement to come as it would be shipping from China and it was like 2-3 weeks out. Still giving the rail 5 stars as it's well built with no sharp edges. The white markings looks nice and everything works with my telescope mount.

Built solid. There are no D ring screws included for the 9" and the two socket hex screws are 3/8 inch and can't be used to attach the camera. I had to buy a set of 1/4 inch d ring screws to mount the camera.

Bought this to attach my t3i to my star adventurer gti. Worked great. Feels like a quality product.

Replaced the upper strap on my newt with this one. Can be used for lifting the scope, as well as mounting telrads etc., too. The finish is good, and the size is very accurate as described. I can now also mount a standard mirrorless camera on the top of my scope using the tripod screws

I'm using this dovetail to mount my camera and telephoto lens to a Star treker. The dovetail holds the camera securely and allows the Star trackers set screw to lock it in place. Have disassembled and reassembled my entire setup many times and the neewer bar does not have a scratch on it.

I originally purchased this dovetail for my dslr to balance it on my sky watcher star adventurer gti. It worked pretty well attaching it directly to the camera but there were some clearance issues. Despite the issues with clearance I was able to get it to work well. I have since moved on and now use it for my Sbony 503 70ed as the included dovetail was too short to balance on my star tracker. It works perfectly and has a variety of bolts and configurations. It is quite beefy which is good and bad as it adds a bit of weight to my set up. Overall pleased with the product.

This NEEWER 11.8"/300mm rail bar vixen style dovetail plate doing great job I must admit, and it is great quality product at all. What's most important that this mounting plate is compatible with any standard vixen style saddle manufactured by various brands. The scale markings on either side will help you find a precise position to mount your equipment for astrophotography, celestial observation, night sky watching and stargazing. What I really like that there are soft nonslip rubber pads which increase stability between the mounting plate and your device while protecting the device from unwanted scratches. It is great quality product at all, for really reasonable price I must admit. Very useful and helpful metal mounting plate saddle with M6 1/4" 3/8" camera screw for sure. I can highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a very robust and premium piece of kit. It's not very heavy, it’s quite light but still has a little bit of heft to it indicating the use of high-quality materials. Comes with multiple bolts, screws and spacers for 1/4 and 3/8 threads. This is highly efficient for macro photography. The 400mm length makes it excellent for photo stacking macro shots. It could be used for dual camera shots or even a manual rail. I use this because it can fit at least a crop sensor body, a full frame body, and an action camera. The weight of all of these doesn't seem to strain or bend the rail, and there's plenty of room to arrange the cameras for balance. The underside is completely hollowed out except at the tripod attachment. This rail plate allows me to mount my rig to a fluid head tripod and have all the room for the adjustment I need to balance my rig without dismantling it. Overall, the rail is extremely sturdy and an amazing option for videographers that toggle between handheld and tripod shots. Hope this review helps someone out.
