Q: Why does this say for adults? Would it be inappropriate for 16 year olds? I haven’t seen it in person but my 16 yr old daughter wants it.

I would say that it’s appropriate for 16+ - it’s more like a get-to-know-you game, nothing dirty. It’s my favorite game ever, so happy I bought it!

Q: could this be an appropriate game to play w/ adult children who you have a strained relationship with if trying to reconnect or would it be volatile?

I feel that it would depend on a couple of things. 1. If everyone playing is really seeking to reconnect and willing to lower their defenses and listen with an open mind (which means no retaliation or taking things personal) then it should work great! 2. If you come to a question that is too deep then you can always skip it! I played this game with 3 of my 4 siblings plus spouses. All of our relationships are at different stages but we have all deeply hurt each other at some point or another. We also have all been really rocked by our parents divorce. We approached the game with open minds and willing hearts. We got into some things that are really deep, wounds that were never really healed, and we even had a couple moments of real anger but it never boiled over because we pushed ourselves as hard as we could to be good and active listeners and not take things as personal attacks. We walked away feeling more connected and saying we wanted to play again soon. I hope that helps.
