Great for baking pies.
I bought this specifically to bake plate pies on, and it cooks the shortcrust base perfectly. I'd been using normal pottery plates previously and always suffered from an uncooked/under cooked base and a friend recommended buying 'a tin plate...'.. Presto! - perfect pies ! Very happy.
