It has a pleasant smell and consistency. After using it my skin looks calm and happy. They say use it every day which is a bit too time consuming for me, but I feel it gives my skin a good boost when used 3x per week. I have no experience with botox, so can't compare it, but it gave my skin a nice little boost. When you apply it, it tingles on your skin. I would recommend trying it on the skin on the inside of your wrist first to see if there are no allergies or so. Be careful though, it's got one hell of a sting when you apply it, and i'm not allergic, do a test patch first obviously.. you get used to it.
