To work it is a pair and you need to buy both, the slide sheet AND the base sheet
I bought a pair of these; the Wendylett slide sheet and base sheet, the day after my partner died as a gift for the Hospice where we were cared for, they had two sets and deserved more. These are a fabulous resource for the Healthcare Team to use to change the position of people unable to move for themselves, especially in the last days of someone's life. It made such a difference to the privacy and dignity afforded to people with reduced mobility. I highly recommend them and they are expensive but worth the money in terms of the manual handling care of the team and the dignity & comfort of the person they are caring for.

Very expensive, but worth it!
Very expensive, but worth it. Was introduced to these by the carer. My father is very tall and cannot bend much, these sheets mean that one person can 'slide' him around from lying to sitting position very easily and gently. Have been told you can buy cheaper, but these are good quality and quick drying. If they are good enough for a care home, they are good enough for me! Tip: be aware you need to buy both the base AND slide sheet for it to work!

This together with the top sheet is the best donation you can give to a hospice who have to care for patients who cannot move themselves. These sheets also help the nursing and carers to roll the patients gently for bathing/cleaning purposes. A very nice gift for hospices/care homes. They wash well with non biological poweder or fabric softener at 60 degrees. Will be buying more as a thank you to our local hospice.

Disappointed
I wish that both the fitted sheet and the single sheet were together? I've got a single sheet I wanted the fitted sheet can't use one and not the other please can they correct it on the system. Sending item back !

Needs to be elasticated.
The base sheet is fine as long as you are able to tuck it in but for anyone on an air bed it needs to be elasticated which I was told by the company selling them they no longer do, Great shame as it just doesn't work out well on an air bed. I have one elasticated base sheet which is brilliant but this one I am afraid just doesn't compare.
