No, this globe is purely for decorative/geographical purposes. However, it is absolutely beautiful to look at and excellent when used for educational purposes to illustrate location, distance and perspective!

My partner has always wanted a globe I seen this one in a very expensive shop but almost bought it as it was the first globe that I loved. Never thought I would but this one will look good in my study, it looks very stylish and modern. It will fit in with my decor all metallics. I got home and had a look on Amazon and found the same one for less than half the price...I love a bargain.
