These RC boats exceeded my expectation. I was not expecting much, I was happy that the price was low and was looking for a set of two for my nephews' birthdays (5 and 7) that they would be celebrating at the lake. The product was shipped, it was longer than the typical 2-day prime shipping, but it arrived on the day that was given. Boat Batteries - the boats come with rechargeable batteries, the instructions say that it takes 60-90 min to fully charge the battery which will last about 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the batteries arrived fully charged and ready for play. RC Batteries - each remote requires two AA batteries - these are not included so you'll want to have them on hand. Use and Features - I was a little skeptical when I turned the remote on and tried out the controls and nothing happened. The instructions say that the boat needs to be in the water, but I was nervous when nothing happened. We put the boats in the water, turned on the remote control and it immediately kicked into gear. The 5 and 7-year-old were able to easily steer and control the boats with little adult help. The controls were intuitive and they were racing and chasing each other in no time. I was really impressed with the fun that was had and the value of the set. I will update if there are any changes, but overall highly recommend.

I recently purchased the Tollcy 2Pack RC Boats for my 8 and 5 year old sons. It has been a fantastic decision! These remote control boats are not only of excellent quality, but they're also super easy to control and provide endless fun for my kids. I was impressed with the build quality of these boats. My sons have been thoroughly enjoying the Tollcy RC Boats, and I can safely say they have quickly become their favorite toy. Both boats work fine. However, one of the controllers starts beeping after a minute or so. The batteries are all charged, the same brand new batteries in both controllers and it's in a pool, no more that 10 feet away. Fun enough. Not as fast as expected, but "fine" for what it is.

These were delivered extremely fast just a few hours. They are really fun in the pool fast and maneuverable forward backwards right and left cool little boats. My only worry was a lot of water got inside one of them when I opened it to charge the battery I could smell the little motor it had gotten really hot. I hope they last but only time will tell.update time has told one of the boats has a bad motor and a bad battery we have asked and gotten an exchange which is a great because my granddaughter loves these little boats. Something about the red one not being as good as the blue one twice in a row the blue one doesn’t get as much water in it it is heavier and faster then the red one not sure why money I suppose buy two get one good one ? Maybe.

Full charge battery (~15 min.) I bought these as a Christmas gift for my two daughters (7 and 5 yrs old). They LOVED using them. We've tried them in a pool (have to turn a lot since they are quick little things). Then we took them to a lake and it was more fun since they had plenty of open space to drive them about. Pros: - Little kids will always love these toys - 2 in a package = good deal - 2 colors to help separate for which kid you give to Cons: - Battery doesn't come with charging brick (just the USB) - Takes about 1 - 2 hours to charge - Lasts about 15 min. play time.

They are JUST as pictured and we've had a BLAST with them so far!! BOY can they flat out MOVE too!! Backwards, forwards, all OVER the place!! Just FUN! Only issue I had was they had disconnected the battery INSIDE the boat, so it took me a min to figure out why they weren't working!! LOL But, after we figured that out, all was good and we were off and running! Literally!! For adults and kids!! They are just FUN! Even shoots out water behind them like a real boat!!! So, you can scream past your 'opponent' and splash em in the face on the way by! LOL We really enjoy them and would recommend for sure!! Heck, hubby even dropped the remote in the water RIGHT off, and it's still going strong!!! They are VERY reasonably priced too considering you get two of everything!! Would recommend for sure!! A GREAT addition to your summer pool fun!! A+!

I bought this set of two remote-controlled boats for my grandchildren's recent visit. They loved them - for the short time they worked. PROS: - small, lightweight - good for small backyard pool CONS: - one propellor stuck, resulting in boat that only turned in tight circles - battery life low - water seeped into boat battery compartment - did not cover advertised distances (18' was the max we got out of the boats) - controllers sometimes switched between boats without any warning or realigning bluetooth connections - controllers didn't always work to communicate with boats I would pass on these, even though my grandchildren enjoyed them for the first round of use.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when I ordered these! I was thinking they would be junk and half work or not at all - instead I was amazed! Not only do they work, they are fast, easy to operate and have long battery life! The range is great as well! I live on a farm, I use these boats to bring in the ducks and geese at night off the water. I have no issues getting all the way across the lake to round up the birds and follow them back in. Honestly one of the best purchases I have made this year! No more going out in a canoe to round up the flock, now I just drop these in from the waters edge and watch the birds come rushing in!
