Black Agate Bookend Pair - 1 to 3 lb - Geode Bookend with Rock Paradise Exclusive COA

I love geodes and agate and all that. And so I decided to get these Agate Book Ends to hold my recipe binders on the counter in the kitchen. I get to see them far more often in the kitchen than I would in other parts of the house. They arrived quickly, well packaged, in excellent condition and ready to work. They do fall within the described weight range of 6-9 lbs., and for that reason will function as well as they look. You can see that they've been dyed. And I suspect that if I handle them much, the dye would probably wind up on my hands. But I'm not doing that. They're just sitting there holding books up just like I wanted them to. I think they're pretty neat.

These agate bookends are larger and heavier than expected. I use them as decor/positive energy pieces. Definitely worth the price. So very pretty and natural.

These are small but also beautiful. I was given a different brand as a birthday gift and they came broken and terribly dyed and I had to return them. While smaller than the set originally sent to me these are beautiful and also are not covered in pink dye powder like some are.

I have to admit I was worried that they wouldn't look very nice or I would get one that doesn't look as nice since it's being shipped. I was wrong they looked great. Each one weighed just under 4 pounds, about 3 lbs 15 oz. The product was packaged nicely for its protection as well.*Just noticed a small damage area in the corner of one of the rocks, I will contact seller.

this product is terrible. nothing like any of the pictures. the stone is almost all black, no lines, just terrible. i would never reccomend these to anyone. i didnt expect to get ones that looked like the picture, but i expected WAY better. i got the natural ones, and they came in basically pitch black, no crystals, no lines of depth to them, and scratched.terrible. if i could give a zero of five stars i would.

It looks okay, but I am not sure if it is really an agate... The color is pretty, but was rubbing off on my hands upon opening, and after I was moving them around on my shelf. It's trendy though, and it fits with the accent color in my living room. I know not all rocks are the same, but I'm pretty sure mine are closer to the 1 lb end of the 1-3 lb scale they list. A little bit heftier would be nice for the books, as these slip unless everything is perfectly straight. But it fits fine where I need it as a decorative item.

Not big enough to hold many books, if you are looking for bookends BUT super cool addition to my decor.

These are really nice and as pictured. They look great holding my books up. Heavy and sturdy.
