Successful Hatch 🐣
Straight-up, this incubator has some flaws. But, it still did the job well. I started some eggs in a DIY incubator & it was working, but had some scary temp spikes & I was constantly checking it. I thought the eggs probably wouldn't survive but decided to order this incubator to try & finish them. I ran it empty for a full day to test temp & humidity first, then put eggs in on day 8 (you cannot adjust the counter so you'll have to keep track). I didn't use the turners since they had been started on their sides & manually turned 4-5 times daily. I just continued manually turning them.Instead used the lid of a carton with some shelf liner to keep the eggs from rolling and also as a temp buffer.I followed the temp setting instructions of 37.6. Using the styrofoam lid it still tended to get a little hotter & more humid, so I propped it open slightly with a small piece of cardboard. That kept the temp & humidity steady.I removed one non-viable egg just before lockdown & crossed my fingers for the remaining 5. All hatched. This is not a set & forget incubator, but it was pretty straightforward despite the horrible instructions. During hatch I opened the lid several times & had no trouble at all getting temp & humidity right back up, because it's relatively shallow. Big plus. The drawbacks:I hadn't thought ahead much about safety for the hatchlings. There are gaps around the mesh floor, and the mesh openings themselves are a little large so there is some danger of a leg or foot getting caught. I'll fit something safer in over it next hatch. The other drawback is a hotspot in the left front corner. It consistently read 2-3 degrees higher than the rest of the interior. So be sure to get thermometer/hygrometers to place inside. I trusted them over the incubator display. All in all I'm content with this product and the great results.

First Time Hatcher
The candling feature is not working with this machine. My eggs are a little large for this machine and are catching on lid when turning. Lost one when cracked. Not terribly easy to clean during hatch cycle. Added foil liners along edge to raise lid some. Seems to help. We’ll see how the modification affects egg development. Would be nice if egg holders had some sort of height adjustment. Being a first timer, not sure a failure would mean any issues linked to machine. Probably perfect for smaller eggs. Here’s to hoping!

Review on the egg incubator
I don't like that the temp is on Celsius and there is no way to change it. The light doesn't really show the inside of the egg like it supposed to. The top the plastic piece keeps poping off and doesnt stay shut . Also only certain breeds of chick's can go in the incubator one of breeds of chicken eggs are larger and can't fit. I mean I guess it's doing the job for now just waiting on day 21 to see if the hatching process starts.

Ok
Incubator does it’s job but standard chicken eggs won’t fit in it with the egg turner. I hatched ducklings in it but had to hand turn them and tape the lid shut because there was a gap where it wouldn’t snap in.They hatched but I would say pay more for a nicer incubator

Hope you have small eggs
If you are planning to hatch large chicken eggs, or anything over a bantam size chicken egg, don’t bother. I had to take the egg turner out to use for my sapphire gem chicken eggs. Humidity does not stay at a specific level. All out a pain in the rear.

Don't waste your time or money
So disappointed in this product, lid will not stay in place my chicken eggs lifted it up every time ut turned. Alarm goes off constantly because you cannot keep humidity correct. First time I had 22 eggs, and only 2 hatched and after hours and hours watching them struggle I had to pick them out. Now I'm trying once again, and still can't get heat and humity set. It's been on 2 days no luck getting it safe for eggs. I even added a hydrometer to adjust it. I'm ready to throw it out.
