It didn't even work in mine, andit was made for the model I have . I don't recommend you purchase it

will it fit an e500 ?

Due to the shape of it, this will not fit any device. Nothing accepts the notches you see on it so if you even want to try it you'll need to cut ot smaller. Don't waste your pennies.

Would this work for the olympus sp560uz please?

It doesn't work full stop . Tried on my laptop , desktop and my cameras , no luck . Useless .
