Great grabber
Love it. Bought one for my elderly parents to help them around the house, and one for myself to use in the garden as I am freaked out by bugs. Good construction, handy magnet tip, great for retrieving things that have fallen behind cupboards. If like me you love your garden but want to keep critters at arms length then this is great, I can pick up windfalls without being stung, pull branches towards me for easy pruning, it’s a massive help. There is a weight restriction but it’s reasonable. The grip is easy to use and there’s no hand fatigue, even my dad who has arthritis in his thumbs finds it easy to use

GRABBED my attention
A lot can be said about modern inventions but I honestly cannot think of a time before the Homecraft Handi reacher 30 incher. Gone are the days of me struggling to reach the tv remote or have a bath. Its ergonomic trigger release system is truely breathtaking and the spring back gives it extra purchase. The 30 incher is a definate gamechanger it can handle the slipperist of remote situations. Last tin of beans at the back of the cupboard? Boom. Tv remote in the loft again? Seeya. Even handled smoothly underwater. Seriously, why are you still reading?! Buy this grabtastic peice of engineering prowess today!

Excellent helping hand for the elderly.
Bought for my elderly father-in-law when he hurt his back and couldn't bend down to pick things up easily. I was worried it wouldn't be much good, seeing negative reviews of much more expensive grippers.Firstly, it's pretty light, and the grip allows the whole hand to pull on the trigger. This makes it pretty easy to use for anyone frail or with arthritis. The soft rubber jaws are serrated and really do help pick small objects up with ease. I think you'd struggle with anything heavier or larger than a jar of jam though. Realistically a large remote control or mobile phone would be the limit for someone with a weaker grip. The tip on the outside of the jaws is great for clothes or something light that the jaws would maybe not be appropriate for.In all a very practical and well made gripper.

Mobility aids
This is a real asset for me since I had an operation on my spine some time ago. This unit allows me to pick up items from the floor and also things on shelves that I cannot reach. I was given one by the hospital when I had the operation and I was able to use it until the spring inside broke. This is a wonderful asset for people with back problems and I would recommend it.

Great little helper
Suddenly found myself immobile and this little gadget helped me so much. I could easily pick things up, pull things towards me and the little magnet was great for picking up bits. If it wasn't strong enough to pick something up, more often than not it would attach and I could slide it across the floor. Good for lifting bags up, opening drawers and getting things off of shelves. Every home should have one of these.

Good for reaching small items
My wife had surgery and she could not bend for a while so I got this for her. It did it’s job and helped her to reach things that fell on the floor. I would say it’s good for reaching small items but feels a bit too flimsy for lifting heavier things from a shelf. Some items (especially circular ones) are a bit hard to grab with this thing but that’s to be expected.

Nice but not the same as picture shown
This products shows a piece sticking out, when they were received they did not have it and that is essential to my husband.

Sturdy and does the job I got it for.
Very useful, will grip most cans and jars of applicable size. Great for pick up things of the floor too. I use it mostly in the kitchen, where I have a few high shelves that I cannot teach without a stool. Works great for that. Seems like a pretty sturdy built device. Would recommend.
