Fresh Ginger Root / Adrak - 1lb

It grew in my garden this year, beautiful and when it came time to harvest I don't have this years worthbut has much to do with little space I do have. My plants are in buckets, so yes I had a good crop, next year will plant earlier. It was worth the money I paid for themand the learning experience was Great. Taste is better than wha t I get in the store.

The roots were fresh and bigger than what's sold at Walmart.

All the ginger roots I've received were nice and healthy and plump. Better than what you see in the grocery store. Very happy with the orders.

None of them came out, planted in a greenhouse. The other root crops in different containers did fine. No guarantee because they don’t know if you know what you’re doing. But I have grown them every year for 5 years, and this is my first time they didn’t do anything.

Okay product but many were wilted and soft so unless you can use this quantity, go to your local supermarket. If it is all good, here is a little trick I learned. Cut up ginger and put in mason jar and fill with white wine. When you need ginger, remove the amount you need plus you can use the now flavored ginger wine for cooking but replace wine used.

I tried starting ginger from ginger at the grocery store, but it just rotted. I think it was too old and dried out, and possibly sprayed with chemicals to prevent sprouts. This ginger is beautiful. The corms looks to be very fresh, and have several buds on them that are on the verge of sprouting. I am confident that these will grow. I haven't used any of this ginger yet in cooking, so I cannot comment on the flavor, but if looks are anything, the flavor will be wonderful. . . I highly recommend.
